With a heart of boxing, I finally chose the ordinary post of village official, a fiery land in the countryside! In the prosperous times, the grand movement of "building a new socialist countryside" is played all over the country, and we university student village officials are also fortunate to integrate into it for development. Building a new socialist countryside is a huge project, which needs our long-term unremitting efforts. Due to the long-term imbalance of industrial and agricultural development in China and the widening gap between urban and rural areas, the development of rural areas has become the bottleneck of building a harmonious society and heading for a well-off society in an all-round way. In recent years, the policy of supporting agriculture and benefiting farmers by the Party and the country has also highlighted the urgency of building a new countryside, promoting rural development and increasing farmers' income. However, building a new socialist countryside is not just a slogan. A large number of young talents with modern knowledge, modern concepts and modern vision are indispensable to turning strategic deployment into reality. At present, there is a serious shortage of backbone talents in the construction of new countryside, rural young and middle-aged laborers are constantly shifting to cities and towns and non-agricultural industries, rural party member and village-level cadres are generally older, less educated and backward in thinking, and some local village-level organizations lack successors. Therefore, sending college students to work in rural areas has become a realistic need to build a new socialist countryside.
