1. Locate and open "Administrative Tools" in the control panel, and double-click "Services" in the administrative tools.
2. For the DNS client service shown in the figure below, DNS uses port 53. To disable the service, right-click the service and select Properties.
3. Select the startup type as Disabled, and then click OK to save the changes, and the related ports will be closed. But remember, if you don't know the purpose of this service (port), you'd better not operate it in disorder to avoid computer system failure. And the service is disabled, any services that explicitly depend on it will fail to start.
