In 2020, the market value of Wuliangye exceeded one trillion yuan, becoming the first trillion-dollar stock in Shenzhen, creating another wine myth.
The Historical Origin of Wuliangye
Wuliangye has inherited the history of solid-state brewing of more than 1000 years, and it has been brewed with more grains since Chongqing Liquor in the prosperous Tang Dynasty. In 765, in the first year of Tang Yongtai, Du Fu, a great poet, passed by Yibin, and the local chief executive Yang hosted a banquet in the East Building, entertaining him with heavy blue wine. Du Fu was amazed after drinking and wrote a banquet for Yang's East Building in Rongzhou, which surprised him.
From a geisha, I am very happy to be the master. Spring wine is heavy and litchi is light red. The building is high and melancholy, and the flute has not stopped. In 782, three years after Jianzhong, Chongqing Bijiu officially became the official custom-made wine.
In the Northern Song Dynasty, Da Shi Yao in Yibin opened Yao's Brewery. On the basis of heavy blue wine, after repeated attempts, Yao Zi Xue Qu was made from five kinds of grain, such as sorghum, rice, glutinous rice, buckwheat and millet, and pleasant local spring water.
