Believe in the future

Shi Zhi wrote it.

Translation: Chen

When the spider web mercilessly closed my coil base,

When the lingering smoke of ashes laments the sadness of poverty,

I still insist on scattering the ashes of disappointment,

Write these words: believe in the future, there will be beautiful snow.

When my purple grapes turn into dewdrops in late autumn,

When my flowers are in someone else's arms,

I still insist on using severely frosted dead vines.

Write these words: believe in the future, in a desolate land.

I will point out the waves that pour into the horizon,

I will support the ocean that supports the sun,

I will shine with the morning light, which is a warm and beautiful pen container.

Write these words: believe in the future, with childish handwriting.

Why should I firmly believe in the future?

The reason is that I believe that people's eyes in the future,

She will have eyelashes that can uncover those dirty history,

She will have eyes that can understand the chapters of the years.

For our rotting muscles,

The pain of loss and failure,

Whether they will give them moving tears and sincere sympathy,

Or they will give us a contemptuous smile and sarcastic ridicule.

For our spine,

And those countless explorations, wanderings, failures and successes,

I firmly believe that people must show their enthusiasm, considerable and fair judgment,

Yes, I look forward to their verdict.

Dear friends, please firmly believe in the future.

Believe in tenacious efforts,

Believe that youth can overcome death,

Believe in the future and cherish life.

Xia Hong's Notes: I just found Robert online? Wang Zhiguang, a teacher from Zhejiang University, and Lantian, editor of Zishu, translated Believe in the Future. This translation was translated in 2006. As follows:

Believe in the future

Author: Shi Zhi

When cobwebs mercilessly blocked my stove

When its dying smoke sighs poverty

I will stubbornly dig out disappointing ashes.

Write with beautiful snowflakes: Believe in the future.

When my overripe grapes melt into dew in late autumn

When my flowers lie in someone else's arms

I will stubbornly write on the desolate land.

Use a dry and cold vine: believe in the future.

I pointed to the billowing waves in the distance.

I want to be the sea that holds the sun in my hand.

Grab the beautiful and warm pen of Dawn.

Write in childlike handwriting: believe in the future

The reason why I believe in the future so firmly is:

I believe in the eyes of future people.

Their eyelashes can brush away the ashes of history.

Their students can see through the text of time.

It doesn't matter whether people shed tears of regret.

For our rotting flesh, or our hesitation, or the pain of our failure.

Whether they look at us with ridicule or deep sympathy.

Or a contemptuous smile or bitter irony

I firmly believe that people will judge our spine.

And our endless exploration, loss, failure and success.

Enthusiastic, objective and fair evaluation

Yes, I am anxiously awaiting their verdict.

Friends, please let us believe in the future.

Believe in our indomitable struggle

Believe that our youth can overcome death.

Believe in the future: believe in life.
