The emblem of the 2022 Winter Olympics "Winter Dream" was unveiled at the Beijing National Aquatics Center on 20 17 12 15. The mascot of this Winter Olympics, Ice Shield, was announced on September 19. The "Ice Shield" is based on the panda, the national treasure of China, and combines the panda image with the ice crystal shell, reflecting the ice and snow movement and modern technology.
The shape of the head shell comes from the helmet commonly used in winter sports, and the inspiration of facial color halo comes from the National Speed Skating Hall, one of the competition venues of this Winter Olympics. The red heart pattern on the palm of the left hand represents the warm welcome of the host country, China, to people all over the world.
