The Turkish Patent Office independently searches the previously registered or applied Turkish trademarks and issues a search report. The applicant will receive the above search report before the trademark is approved and announced, and decide whether to arrange the trademark announcement.

2, trademark form review

After the application is submitted, review the legality of the submitted application documents, trademark patterns, power of attorney and other documents; If it meets the requirements, the application date and application number shall be granted.

3. Examination of the essence of the trademark

When examining the Turkish trademark application, the Turkish Patent Office only examines its registrability (that is, salience), also known as absolute reasons, and does not examine relative reasons, that is, it will not invoke prior rights to reject the application.

4. Turkish trademark announcement

After examination, the examiner thinks that the trademark application is acceptable, and then an announcement will be made in the official trademark announcement of Turkey. 3 months from the date of announcement is the objection period.
