The Qian family is the Qian family, and its ancestor is Qian Liu, the founding emperor of the Five Dynasties. Qian Qichen, Qian Ying Zheng, Qian Xuesen, Qian Weichang, Qian Xuantong, Qian Sanqiang, Qian Jibo, Qian Zhongshu, Qian Fu, Qian Mu and Qian Xun, including China scientist Qian Yongjian, winner of the 2008 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, are all descendants of Qian Wang.
In more than 30 generations, there are more than 100 academicians in the world. Qian Xuesen is a branch of Lin 'an and Qian Sanqiang is a branch, both of which are of the same ancestry as Qian.

Qian Sanqiang (19131016-19920628), formerly known as Qian Bingqiong, is a nuclear physicist. Born in Shaoxing, Zhejiang, his ancestral home is Huzhou, Zhejiang. He is the founder of China's atomic energy science, China's "two bombs and one satellite" and an academician of China Academy of Sciences.
1932, graduated from Peking University Preparatory College. 1936, graduated from Tsinghua University. 1939, Qian Sanqiang completed his doctoral thesis-collision between alpha particles and protons. 1946 won the Henri Bader prize for microphysics of French Academy of Sciences at the end of the year.
1948, Professor of Physics Department of Tsinghua University, Vice President of China Academy of Sciences, President of Zhejiang University, Vice Chairman and Honorary Chairman of China Association for Science and Technology, Vice Chairman and Chairman of Chinese Physical Society. On July 24th, 1980, Professor Qian Sanqiang gave a lecture on "Introduction to the Development of Science and Technology" in Zhongnanhai.
