Three-clan culture refers to the splendid culture created by three ancestors (Huangdi, Yan Di and Chiyou) in Zhuolu area about 5,000 years ago. 1992, the historian Ren Changhua put forward "three ancestors culture" for the first time, and juxtaposed Chiyou, as the ancestor of Chinese humanity, with Huangdi and Yan Di for the first time, which broke the traditional saying that the winner is king and the loser is the enemy, established the view that the Chinese nation is of the same ancestry, and made it clear that ancestral culture is the essence of patriotism and the cornerstone of national unity.
According to the Records of Five Emperors, the political, military and cultural activities of the three ancestors, Huangdi, Yan Di and Chiyou, were all carried out in Zhuolu. First, the Yellow Emperor "fought Yan Di in the field of Hanquan, and succeeded after World War III", "fought Chiyou in the field of Zhuolu", and then continued to fight south until he controlled "east to the sea, west to Kongtong, south to rivers, and north to chase meat porridge".
At this point, the Yellow Emperor called the tribal leaders of all clans in the world to "unify Busan and Zhuolu City" and became the co-owner of the world, and abolished all the original totems or deeds of all clans, tribes and tribal alliances. At the same time, he combined some outstanding features of the original totems of all clans, tribes and tribal alliances to create a virtual and vivid totem-dragon, which is the common totem of the Chinese nation.
Ancient civilization opened zhuolu. Five thousand years ago, Yan Di, Huangdi and Chiyou, the ancestors of the Chinese nation, fought, cultivated and merged in Zhuolu, establishing the first concentration of political power in the history of the Chinese nation, creating the "dragon" totem of the Chinese nation, realizing the first great integration of the Chinese nation and opening a new era of Chinese civilization. Sima Qian's Records of the Five Emperors contains: "The Yellow Emperor and Chiyou fought in the field of Zhuolu", while "the city is in the land of Zhuolu".
Therefore, the late famous historian Gu Jiegang asserted in "General History of China" that "ancient civilizations opened zhuolu", and Mr. Su once again emphasized the important historical position of zhuolu in the origin of Chinese civilization by saying "seeing China in a hundred years, seeing Beijing in a thousand years, seeing peace in two thousand years, and seeing zhuolu in five thousand years".
