Everything in this world is produced by Tai Chi.
Taiji is an absolute noumenon, which inevitably produces everything in the world of yin and yang, which is based on the origin of the universe. If we say that the composition of specific things, Tai Chi and Yin and Yang are inseparable, so we say, "If we look at things now, Yin and Yang believe in Tai Chi; If you push it, you will have yin and yang. " (Genre Volume 75) When specific things are generated, Taiji and Yin and Yang are integrated and inseparable, that is, "there is no unreasonable gas in the world, and no gas is unreasonable". (School Volume 1) Zhu thinks that reason and qi are inseparable, which seems to be a kind of dualism, but he also said that in the relationship between reason and qi, reason is the foundation: "Reason is the qi, and reason is the foundation." (ditto) Furthermore, according to Zhu's point of view, "Reason is not born but not destroyed" (genre volume 126), while Qi is born but not destroyed, which is constantly generated by reason: "Those who have dispersed Qi become nothing, and those who are born on the basis of reason are solid, expensive and infinite." ("Zhu Wen Official Documents Collection" Volume 45 Answer Liao Zihui)
In fact, he even made it clear that "this happened before this happened." (
It can be seen that Zhu's philosophical system is objective idealism.
In other words, "Li Qi" is not a superficial dualism, but a monism based on reason. Subjective and objective are far from his contradictions.
