Wang Shuguo, male, born in June 1958/kloc-0, joined the party in June 1976/kloc-0, joined the work in June 1973/kloc-0, graduated from Harbin Institute of Technology, majoring in electromechanical control and automation. He is currently the president (deputy minister level) and deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Xi Jiaotong University.
Wang Shuguo was awarded the title of "National Young and Middle-aged Expert with Outstanding Contributions", "Top Ten Model Teachers' Morality" and "May 1st" Labor Medal. In February, 2006, the French Academy of Agricultural Sciences awarded President Wang the Medal of the French Academy of Agricultural Sciences in recognition of his contribution to promoting Sino-French agricultural cooperation, which is the highest medal of French national agricultural science and technology. Mainly engaged in robot autonomous control theory, robot sensor technology, space robot technology; Medical auxiliary robot system, medical equipment and instruments; Research on biomedical image processing and computer-aided medical technology. He presided over the completion of more than 20 national natural science foundations and 863 projects, and won 7 provincial and ministerial scientific and technological progress awards for scientific research achievements. Wang Shuguo is a senior expert in the field of robot research, and has made important scientific research achievements in intelligent robot simulation, mobile robot and space robot. At the beginning of the 20th century, 265438 initiated a new field of medical engineering research in China, and presided over the development of the world's first bionic hand for trauma rehabilitation, China's first electronic atlas of human brain anatomy, and China's first robot system for minimally invasive abdominal surgery. Research interests include medical robots, bionic robots, biomedical engineering, space robots and so on.
