Jin Yong founded the Tiandi Hui in Gaoxi, Yunxiao, Fujian Province based on the true code words of the Tiandi Hui at that time, which is also consistent with the records in the Hongmen Secret Book. In the image part of volume one of "Historical Materials of Modern Secret Societies", there is a "Suzhu Plaque" painted next to it: "The ancestor lived in Gaoxi, Yunxiao, Fujian". [56] It can be seen from the Hongmen Secret Book that the founder of Hongmen was Wan Yunlong, that is, Wan Tixi. This historical data is consistent with official books and archives. The "Edict" written on the 17th day of the first month of the 54th year of Qianlong's reign said: "According to the righteous offering, my father Tixi, the second monk Hong, became a monk in Guanyin Pavilion." Wulana also reported that "the criminals and others ( Note: Refers to Xingyi and Chen Biao) who confessed that in the 27th year of Qianlong's reign, he spread the Heaven and Earth Society at the Guanyin Temple in Gaoxi. "[57] It can be seen that the "Hongmen Secret Book" said that he lived in Gaoxi, Yunxiao, Fujian. The "first ancestor" is Monk Hong'er Wantixi who was a monk at the Guanyin Temple in Gaoxi recorded in official books and archives. Precisely because Gaoxi in Yunxiao is the birthplace of the Tiandi Hui, Gaoxi Temple is regarded as a holy place in the Hongmen Secret Book, regardless of Xilu legends, images, poems and couplets. In Yao Dagao's manuscript, Gaoxi and Gaoxi Temple are mentioned in no fewer than ten places. It was also mentioned that after Wantixi formed an alliance with the five monks, he died in a battle with Qing soldiers. "The corpse was buried at the foot of the third floor of Gaoxi Temple in the afternoon direction of Dung Ji Lake Mountain." Gaoxi Temple and the three-story building are both located near today's Gaoxi Village in Yunxiao. In the poem, there is: "A bright lamp is in front of the Buddha. The five ancestors opened flags to worship the ancestors. The ancestors' lamps are not edible, but they are left to go to Gaoxi to worship the ancestors." It shows that the founder of Hongmen is indeed in Gaoxi. In Yang's manuscript of Hongmen Secrets, it is also said that Wantixi lived in "Gaoxi Temple above Dingshan Mountain". In the "Tiandihui Documents Discovered by Guixian Chronicle Bureau", it is mentioned that everyone worshiped Wan Yunlong as their eldest brother during the "Gaoxi Uprising". In the image section of "Historical Materials on Modern Secret Societies", there is a picture of Gaoxi Temple, with a couplet on the door: "One stream of mountains and rivers has been beautiful for thousands of years, and the water of the Three Rivers Gorge has flowed for thousands of years." In the poem, there is "the ground is the high hill, the mountains and rivers are beautiful through the ages, the gate is the sea, the three rivers merge into the river for thousands of years". The landscape depicted resembles the Gaoxi Guanyin Pavilion.
