In some dialects of China, "Huaming" is equivalent to a nickname. Nicknames can be subdivided into goodwill nicknames and malicious insults.
1) Goodwill nicknames refer to nicknames that are not insulting and are used by ordinary relatives, friends and others to show more intimate feelings.
2) Malicious and insulting nicknames will cause people who are called nicknames to resent them. Buddhism believes that giving insulting nicknames to others belongs to creating evil mouths. The person who gives someone an insulting nickname first is more guilty. China has a famous saying, "The initiator must have no children." According to the records in Mindfulness Canon, creating a bad mouth will receive the following bad news: "If you are a bad mouth, you will do more. Fall into hell, beast, hungry ghost. If among strangers. Fear is everywhere. Everything. They are all depressed. No one to comfort. Yu Zi's wife. Do not love words. Like a wild deer afraid of everyone. Far from it. Close to evil knowledge. It is three kinds of karma. "
