Three years ago, I changed from an ordinary cadre to a middle-level cadre. Although there are few people in my department, the tasks undertaken are quite important and the work tasks are not small. Although, for me, it has not reached the level of management team. After all, there are really few people in the whole department.
But as a middle-level cadre, you need to think and plan something that you don't have to consider as an ordinary cadre. I also have a lot of things to communicate and coordinate at this level.
After attending the communication training camp, I subverted a lot of specious cognition about the topic of communication. I feel that the ideas and methods of learning here are enough in my own work. But my recent work experience has made me feel more and more urgent and important to think about problems and promote work from the perspective of managers.
After listening to the introductory class, I found that the choice of participating in the manager communication training camp was correct.
The theme of Xiaohua introductory course is: from leader to linker. Judging from my current work experience, the feeling of leadership is really not, but daily work is really a linker.
Xiaohua can always see things from a higher angle. She said, "manager = person in charge."
Management guru peter drucker also said: "Leadership is not a title, privilege, position or money, but a responsibility."
Teacher Dolma Liu mentioned a similar view in the course "30 Lectures on Leadership" offered by MCC: Leadership is to solve problems, and the responsibility of leadership is to take responsibility for solving problems.
Probably influenced by Spider-Man's famous saying-"The greater the ability, the greater the responsibility"-I have always felt that leadership is not so good. No matter how big a leader is, the sense of responsibility is more important than the sense of authority that "the official level kills people."
As Xiaohua said: be responsible for work efficiency, work atmosphere and task results.
It turns out that as an ordinary cadre, I only need to complete the tasks assigned by the leaders. But now, I not only want to complete the task, but also want to complete the task better; We should not only undertake tasks, but also think about planning tasks and give advice to leaders; Not only report to the waist upwards, but also arrange and guide the tasks downwards; It is best to communicate and coordinate with other departments within the unit, but also with other units; We should not only think about our own work at this level, but also arrange work and business guidance for the leaders and employees of business lines of subordinate units to help them strive for progress. ...
It truly embodies Xiaohua's idea of "integrating with oneself and connecting inside and outside", and it is even more arduous.
Xiaohua's method is to learn to communicate well. A "Puntland experiment" shows the great power of communication.
Communication is indeed a comprehensive expression of many abilities in work. Especially after becoming a manager, regardless of the size of the team, a lot of work and achievements of managers are reflected in communication.
It can be said that communication ability is a very good fulcrum to enhance leadership. Fan Deng wrote in the book: "The key to leadership lies in empowering everyone through communication and full respect for differences, so that they can do the right thing with the right method and attitude, and then get the right result."
Xiaohua communication training camp with managers will build three learning modules for us as managers from three angles: downward, upward and outward, so as to better integrate the team, strive for resources and create influence.
These three modules not only promote each other but also complement each other. I believe that through the study and practice of 2 1 day, not only the communication ability is improved, but more importantly, the cognition and pattern of success are improved.
