A Book a Week 02: Golden Dreams (Kotaro Isaka)
Needless to say, how immature human beings are and how unfortunate the world is. Readers will find it difficult to read Jin Meng, but I will work hard tomorrow, and I will be satisfied.

? ? Kotaro Isaka.

Keigo Higashino had a legendary experience that fans talked about: starting with 1999' s Secret, Keigo Higashino's five works were shortlisted for Naoki Award (the highest prize in Japanese popular literature), among which Nocturnal Walking was regarded by many as his first masterpiece. It happened that he couldn't get the prize, so that Keigo Higashino was once dubbed "the man cursed by Naoki Award". Until 2006, he wrote "The Dedication of Suspect X", which won the first place in Japan's top three mystery novels, and won the sixth Benge mystery novel award, and finally won the134th Naoki Award without any suspense. This was Keigo Higashino's "Battle of the Gods". Since then, no one has doubted his position as the "king of reasoning".

Throughout the japanese mystery world, there is a person whose experience is quite similar to that of Keigo Higashino, and that is Kotaro Isaka.

Since the Clown of Gravity in 2003, five novels of Kotaro Isaka have also been shortlisted for the Naoki Award, and they have been shortlisted one after another, but the results have been unsuccessful. However, Keigo Higashino finally won the title of God in World War I in 2006, but Kotaro Isaka refused to be a candidate for the Naoki Award in 2008 and withdrew from the Naoki Award forever.

That year, Kotaro Isaka's novel was called The Golden Dream. Ten years later, this is definitely one of his best novels. In my eyes, this is the number 1 in Kotaro Isaka's works.

I once said that Kotaro Isaka's novels are never full of plots, which often make people feel absent-minded. Moreover, the characters in his works often have a subtle sense of disconnection, which is completely inconsistent with our daily cognition. Not a pervert, just "weird", my head is a little off-line for no reason. Therefore, Kotaro Isaka will never be as popular as Keigo Higashino, because his novels will be a little awkward and will make many people feel a little strange.

However, Iban's novels are always full of hopeless youth, and despair can't stop the flowers of hope. The perfect multi-clue and multi-angle narrative is often amazing. To some extent, I think he looks like Xia Yan Kyougoku. Although many people don't catch a cold at all, readers who appreciate its characteristics will like it very much.

The excellence of Golden Wonderland is that Kotaro Isaka's "embarrassment" has been weakened a lot, but its advantages are incomparable.

In fact, similar to Iban's other novels, the beginning of the story of Golden Dream is a bit meaningless: a new Japanese assassination, and all the evidence points to a courier named Liu Qing Yachun. The huge national violence machine started in an all-round way, and Liu Qing could only begin to flee hopelessly. ......

Small individuals should be vulnerable to the state machine, but seemingly ordinary willow trees have never been "brought to justice" and have always insisted on fleeing: even if they are flustered, they must escape and live. Living is better than anything.

This is not a so-called mystery novel. Until the end, we didn't know why Liu Qing became that unlucky guy. Who spent so much energy to frame a courier who had no bright spot except saving an idol star?

This is not a so-called hero novel. Liu Qing has always been an ordinary person, and he has neither the ability nor the will to expose the shady government. All he can do is stick to escape and continue to live.

This is not a novel in which good triumphs over evil. Although Liu Qing escaped the government's pursuit, those behind it were not punished, and the new Prime Minister died. Nobody knows what the truth is.

Therefore, this is a very honest book. Good people are not always lucky, bad people are not always punished, and the truth is not always known. However, from another perspective, this is another complete fairy tale-why did the willow escape from the tight encirclement? Because of friendship, kindness and courage.

Ex-girlfriends, classmates, company predecessors, serial killers and juvenile delinquents, not everyone likes Liu Qing very much, but they all recognize Liu Qing's personality. So when the police wanted Liu Qing, they all believed that he was wronged and tried their best to help him escape. It is not a fairy tale that a blackbird comes down again and again and is kind again and again.

The whole novel has no leisure time. The ex-girlfriend thinks that their days together can only be "good". Liu Qing likes to press the elevator with his thumb. Plastic surgeons mentioned by female stars rescued by Liu Qing, uncles who always deliver goods on time, classic cars that shelter from the rain together, and fireworks factories that shovel snow together have all become life-saving straws when there is no way out.

When all the links are finally connected, when fireworks are blooming in the night sky, and when Father Liu Qing receives the note that smells like Liu Qing is still alive, I think this story is really wonderful, even if it is a fairy tale, why not?

Fireworks are only a moment, but the feelings between partners are eternal. People gather and disperse, just like fireworks sometimes bloom and sometimes dissipate, but as long as they wait, they will wait. Every ordinary person is a friend you can think of when you see fireworks. They will lend a helping hand at a critical moment and help you become a hero.
