My National Day
When I was a child, the most anticipated holiday besides the Spring Festival was the National Day. In rural areas where everyone works hard for work points, there are no other festivals except the Spring Festival. New Year's Day and May Day are used to repair water conservancy in winter to harvest wheat. National Day is used to cultivate spring flowers and harvest late rice.
However, among these festivals, National Day is slightly different from other festivals. Perhaps it is because in order to show the prosperity of the motherland, every National Day, in addition to posting red and green slogans on various dignitaries, the village also builds a colorful shed with pines and cypresses and hangs four red lanterns with the words "Celebrate National Day". We watched adults crawl up and down, asking well-informed people if there would be a movie tonight. Even if it is "War of the South" or "Red Lantern" that I have watched many times, it is still better than taking care of the bed early at home.
On National Day, you can go to the street. On this day, adults will give you money if they allow it. There are two cents, and when there are more, you can get three cents. In addition to going to Chunjiang Restaurant to eat a bowl of glossy noodles for nine cents, there is still more. You can buy a thinner little book. Ah Hao has a lot of villain books, so he is very stingy to borrow them from him. If you buy it yourself and if he comes to borrow it, be stingy and at least ask him to change it.
The street is very lively. You can go to the South Gate Pier to see the ships, or you can go to the bus station to see the cars. Rongfu and I often went to see cars, and he said he really wanted to drive a car. I was a little surprised because I thought it was just a dream. Later, he was admitted to a technical school and worked as a sheet metal worker and knocked car shells. But now I am the boss.
Some years, there were parades on the street, and we would stand on the street and watch. I'm looking for someone I know, but it's hard to see them. There will also be big-character posters in front of shops on the streets. Even if we scold you, we don’t understand. Once, I saw a poem called "Recalling Qin'e". I remember it was also in our textbook, called "Recalling Qin'e." Loushanguan", but it reads like this: The sun is shining brightly, and the 25th National Day is here. The National Day is here, the red flags are like a sea, and the songs are like a tide. The Nine Great Spirits are glorious, and one billion people are like Shun Yao. After Shun Yao, China became more prosperous, while the United States and the Soviet Union became worse. Ah, I am so impressed. Just recite it silently until you know it by heart.
Time flies, and the National Day is still more and more grand every year. However, now I don’t want to go to the streets near Chichi. The numerous bargain-priced goods no longer appeal to me.
But I think children will always be happy. When the children are happy, the adults will also be happy.
Busy National Day
Another National Day is here, our school is also on holiday, and my parents can also have seven days off. How do the children plan to spend these seven days of vacation? Are you going to travel to other places, or are you watching TV or playing on the computer at home? Are you intoxicated in books all day long, or are you helping your parents with work at home? I think every child probably needs to go shopping and buy something. But have you noticed that during this holiday celebrated by the whole country, so many people are still working hard at their respective jobs?
The salespersons and bosses in every store on the street are working hard. They treat customers enthusiastically and never roll their eyes or say bad words to customers. No matter what holiday it is, the salespersons and owners in these stores never take a break. They are not just there to make money, but also to provide us with better services.
Not only are the salespersons in various stores and supermarkets working hard during the National Day, there are also a group of tireless workers on the streets - sanitation workers. Sanitation workers work from dawn to dusk every day, and they never take a break even on National Day. Sanitation workers contribute to our city every day. Just imagine what our life would be like if there were no sanitation workers: garbage everywhere, the stench is unpleasant... We can't do without them for a day, and they work, protect the environment, and are tired every day. What are they for? It’s not just to give us a clean living environment so that we can have a comfortable National Day.
When did the doctors and nurses in the hospital take a break during the National Day? They are also sticking to their jobs. They treat patients very warmly, just like they treat their own relatives. They will not go to the hospital to treat patients just because their relatives or friends invite them to play. What are they for? It’s not just so that we can get timely medical protection and have a healthy National Day.
During the National Day, people in the tourism industry are working even harder, and staff at various scenic spots across the country are busy. The reason why October 1st to 7th is called the "Golden Week" is because many industries have a holiday from October 1st to 7th. Everyone wants to take this opportunity to travel to various places, and the number of tourists has increased significantly. But no matter how large the number of tourists is, the staff at various tourist attractions are working non-stop so that we can have a happy, joyful and joyful National Day.
In addition to these, there are many workers in many industries who cannot get a break on the National Day, the day when the motherland was born, such as aviation, railway, road transportation and television staff, etc. The purpose is to enable us to have a happy National Day and a happy "National Day Golden Week".
