Morality has been the highest evaluation standard for our Chinese nation since ancient times. Nowadays, various social problems are more prominent. In the final analysis, they are all the lack of morality.

People nowadays generally lack faith and understanding of morality. What’s worse is that many people often talk about benevolence and morality while doing immoral things.

We Chinese people say right from the start that we behave in a well-behaved manner and do things in a practical way. No one denies these things. But everyone thinks it’s funny: How could we, a nation that values ??benevolence, justice and morality, become so corrupt now? He talks about benevolence, righteousness and morality, but everything he does is unsightly and makes others look down upon him. Isn't this strange?

This has led to a very bad phenomenon. People are increasingly losing confidence in morality, and even feel very disgusted when they see someone who is moral. There are three main manifestations. We should take this as a warning, otherwise the harm to others and ourselves will be very great.

First, do not believe in morality

When many people hear the word morality, they laugh: Morality, how much is morality worth? It is of course very difficult for such a person to enrich his cultivation and improve his moral character. All you think about is money. If you have money, you will be arrogant. If you have money, you will have status. So where did you leave your morality?

Second, morality cannot be measured

It is easier to estimate a person's ability, but there is no standard to evaluate a person's morality. Morality is not something to be evaluated by others. Morality is a matter of having a clear conscience. It doesn’t really matter what other people say, because over time you can see people’s hearts, and over time people will naturally know who is a good person and who is a bad person, who has good moral character and who has bad moral character, clearly.

Third, if you are moral, you will be unlucky

We often say that honest people suffer, and people who follow the rules have no future, so the entire faith is really gone. If we talk about a crisis of faith today, I think the most serious one is the loss of faith in morality. This is the most terrifying thing.

Everyone must not be influenced by these wrong concepts, do not believe in morality, and then make wrong value judgments, then the gains will outweigh the losses.

King Wu of Zhou defined morality most clearly. He said: Man is the spirit of all things. This has aroused criticism from many people, who believe that this is human chauvinism and not worth talking about, because humans are simply a type of animal. So slowly we have now become thieves of all things.

Many animals are extinct because of man-made causes. Many species have disappeared, and it was humans who got rid of them. Man has become the number one killer who destroys nature, the environment, and the overall order. So what dignity and value do human beings have?

To be honest, King Zhou Wu said that humans are the soul of all things, which means that since we are humans, we must be enlightened and distance ourselves from animals. Humans are the only animals between heaven and earth that can help heaven and earth transform this world. This is our responsibility, and this responsibility is very important.

Foreigners don’t have this feeling. We respect him and cannot force him, because this thing is spontaneous, otherwise it will be useless to talk about it, and it will be useless to regulate it by law.

We must understand that as Chinese, we have upright demands. If you look at all the foreign books, they rarely talk about being upright, and they think it is a joke. Standing tall, are you that tall? When foreigners heard what we said, they shook their heads, thinking that our high-profile words were unrealistic. This is their business.

Everything, no matter whether it is right or wrong, can be made clear in one sentence, it is all caused by people. Therefore, people must realize that if the world gets better and better, human beings will have face; if the world gets worse and worse, you should not blame others. Therefore, Confucius said: Don’t blame God or others. You need to reflect on yourself, how did you get to this point?

Human beings are creative and can create all kinds of tricks. This is a special ability given to us by nature. However, we must understand that our creations should comply with ethical and moral standards, and that will not be wrong.

As long as it is based on morality, you should try your best to create it. As long as it goes against your moral conscience, never do it.

In fact, we use morality to make up for the shortcomings of religion, and use morality to make up for the shortcomings of law. This is our true faith. If religion adapts to the needs of this group of people, it cannot adapt to the needs of that group of people; if the law adapts to the needs of this region, it cannot adapt to the needs of that region. This requires morality as a support and standard.

Chinese people often say that if you have reason, you can travel all over the world, but if you don't have reason, you can't move even one inch. This principle is ethics and morality. We never talk about obeying the law and traveling around the world. Although morality is invisible, if you believe in morality, there will never be any sequelae.

Everyone in the world knows that people want eternal life. Western religions tell you that those who believe in me will have eternal life. The eternal life of Chinese people does not depend on religion. The "Book of Changes" tells us that eternal life depends on ourselves. If you want eternal life, then live forever. If you don’t live forever, no one can help you.

So, our eternal life is another way, called the non-religious way. To put it bluntly, it is the ethical way. This has a profound impact on our Chinese culture.

Everything in life cannot be brought about by life or taken away by death. The only thing that can be transformed by life and death is morality.

Therefore, it can be said that morality is the foundation of being a human being, and the purpose of human beings in this life is to cultivate moral character. Morality is not only a person's cultivation, but also the highest wisdom. If you behave according to the moral principles, you will be able to achieve good fortune in the end.
