Some teachers have been teaching all their lives and are still "serious" laymen.
Why?
It has something to do with personal talent, and more importantly, whether you are willing to ponder and change.
Recently, I was reading "Daily Teaching Strategies from Excellent Teachers to Excellent Teachers" written by American educators Annette Brushaw and Todd Whitaker. I want to share some educational ideas with you, hoping to get closer to efficient education.
1. Know each student.
Send out a questionnaire, which is what you want to know, and let the students fill it out truthfully.
For example, I (? ), I like (? ), don't like (? ), I enjoyed it (? ), I am best at (? ), I hope to be a ().
In this way, you will know something about each student. You have announced to the students that you are interested in them.
Let the students run errands for you.
Almost all students like to run errands for their teachers. The child feels that the teacher trusts him, and you can turn this into an opportunity to adjust the relationship between teachers and students.
If Li Ming violates discipline in class and has a particularly bad temper, it is best not to criticize him in public. You can take a sealed envelope from the drawer, give it to Li Ming and say to him, "Li Ming, can you give this letter to Mr. Wang Yun for me? Thank you. " Li Ming happily took the letter to see Mr. Wang Yun. When he came back, you were already waiting for him in the corridor. You smiled and said to him, "Thank you for delivering the letter for me, but before we go back to the classroom, I want to talk to you …" It was as simple as that, without any unpleasant conflict, and effective communication began.
3. Let students admit their mistakes to their parents.
Your action is very simple, that is, announce to the students that if they behave badly, you won't call their parents. At this point, students will feel at ease. Then, tell them: "write instead of me, because you are mature enough to be responsible for your actions." I believe you would rather write to your parents yourself than let me tell them. " When you say these words, you must be normal and never use sarcastic tone. You must convince students that you are doing this to help them. You should sign your name on the little note that the child wrote to the parents, and the parents should sign it after reading it. If children write small notes to their parents and admit that they have done bad things, then parents can easily accept this fact. Although they may be crazy, the behavior of students and parents will improve accordingly.
4. One-minute game
Let the students write down the three knowledge points they learned today in one minute. Then, let them share in the class and give them appropriate rewards. This one-minute game will provide students with an opportunity to review what they have learned in time. Prizes need not be complicated or expensive. They can be:
Extra points that can be added to the test scores;
The right to choose not to do homework once;
Stickers that students like;
Time that students can spend freely.
Please don't ignore the important role of this game. Students of all ages like to play this game because it is not only very interesting, but also can win prizes.
5. Daily quotes and wisecracks
There is a small blackboard hanging in front of the classroom. Every day, students take turns to write content. Famous sayings, jokes or sayings created by students. This way can bring freshness to the classroom, and it will have a very good incentive when students write their own famous sayings.
6. Ask colleagues to praise students
Invite colleagues or leaders to your class regularly and let them praise your children. For example, please ask Zhang to say to the students, "I just want everyone to know that your teacher will always be proud of you." She said that you are the best students she has ever taught, and she has been praising you. " It's that simple. It may only take your colleagues 30 seconds, but it means a lot to students.
7. Write a "letter of commendation" to parents.
You can print the template in advance and fill it in at any time.
( ? ) parents:
Hello!
I'm glad to tell you some achievements in our class this year, especially the progress made by your children. The following things make me very proud of your child. I hope you can give him an appropriate reward.
1.
2.
3.
I am here to convey
Salute!
Sincerity (? )
8. Hold an award ceremony
Print the award certificate on the computer, or make it yourself. Most importantly, at your award ceremony, you should provide each student with some award certificates with different names. For example: the king of calculation, the star of speech, the prince of mathematics (princess), the most helpful award, the best punctuality award, the most kind award, the most creative award, the most humorous award and so on. Let the child's sparkle become his trait, so as to enhance his self-confidence and let him find a sense of meaning and belonging in the class.
9. Teachers' meeting
Let the students know that you attend the teacher meeting every week. Whenever you feel the need to re-formulate rules and regulations to adapt to the development of the class, simply say to the students, "At this week's teacher meeting, other teachers shared a very practical class system. They said that their students were difficult to carry out, so they felt helpless. But I am proud to tell these teachers that my students can do it. Do you want to try? " Students usually agree, so the teacher successfully implemented the new system. Finally, you tell them that you can't wait until the teachers' meeting next week, because then you can praise them in front of other teachers.
Students like to accept challenges and have a strong sense of collective honor. Teachers should be good at "fanning the flames".
10. Pretend to make a mistake
Let's assume that you want to write a short essay on the blackboard. When you write it, they will proofread the article you wrote on the blackboard. Once you see a student giving a thumbs up, you should stop and ask, "Did I do something wrong?" Then let them tell you how to correct it. The key of this activity is that each student's thumb is either up or down, which helps students to concentrate and participate in classroom activities more actively. You know, almost all children like to correct teachers' mistakes.
Finally, I want to give you a poem from this book.
You are a hero.
You soothe every young heart.
You teach everyone who is eager for knowledge.
You have healed every wound.
You understand every unique dream.
You inspire those children who don't want to study.
You magically make all the complicated things simple.
Like a gardener, you try to cultivate every flower you have.
Carefully shovel all the weeds for them
You are a very ordinary person.
But do something unusual.
