My hometown is Yimeng Mountain, an old revolutionary base area. When I was in middle school, I heard the touching story that Sister Yimeng used milk to save the wounded of the People's Liberation Army and six sisters of Yimeng led the whole village to bake pancakes, wash military clothes and make military shoes for the troops. Eleven years ago, listening to the story of Kong Fansen's three visits to Tibet in the radio drama, I was moved to tears. In that year, I came to Xinjiang from my hometown and became a border guard. Liu Zailong, the instructor at that time, said that Kong Fansen went to Tacheng on November 29, 1994, and a car accident happened on the way. After hearing the news, the officers and men of the army and the resident Kazakh herdsmen scrambled to donate blood for Secretary Kong. In memory of Kong Fansen, Toli County erected a monument to him at the place where the car accident happened in November 1995. During the five years in the army, every year, the Tomb-Sweeping Day Army organized officers and men to visit the graves of martyrs in Toli County to commemorate the martyrs who died in the "Tielekti Incident" on August 13th, 1969. Now, Fan Junlin, the son of Fan Jinzhong, the company commander who died in the Tielekti incident, has taken over the steel gun that his father once held and become a border guard. In the Tacheng Military Division, there are many people like Fan Junlin who follow the footsteps of their parents, such as Dong Jinhui and Dong Minghui. Four years ago, I took off my military uniform and went to Aheqi County in southern Xinjiang to become a township worker. Zhang Ping, then secretary of the Party Committee of the town who once served in the army, told me that the provincial highway 36 was still majestic before the 197s. In 1973, nine soldiers were sacrificed to build this road, the oldest being 22 years old and the youngest being 19 years old. In the annals of Aheqi County, I saw their names: He Xiliang, Mei Haifu, Ye Yuehong, Cao Huaisheng, Liu Xiantai, Zhong Jianchuan, GUO DE CAI, Hu Shuiqing and Li Jianjin. In memory of these nine soldiers, Aheqi County established a cemetery for them to express their admiration for the martyrs. One of the "Top Ten People Moved by Xinjiang in 25", the Kirgiz herder Burumahan Mulledo in Geegon Township, Wuqia County has become the pride of the Kirgiz people. For more than 5 years, many Kirgiz border herders who have lived on the border for generations have burned cow dung and lived in a nest. They are willing to stay poor and not afraid of difficulties, and have always helped border soldiers defend the country, making a yurt a mobile post and a herder a sentry, forming a new type of military-civilian relationship with the same breath, the same fate and heart-to-heart. Soldiers are the loveliest people, and those who regard soldiers as their relatives are also the loveliest people. Today, when we vigorously publicize and advocate "Eight Honors and Eight Disgraces", "Double Support * * * Building" and "Singing" Three Loves "and Harmonious Development", whether in the mainland or in Xinjiang, whether as soldiers or as the masses, each of us should follow the footsteps of the most lovely people of the older generation and, like them, love the party, the motherland and socialism.
