Wang Meng was first appointed as the Minister of Zhongshu ③, and soon he was promoted to Zhongshu Ling ④ and Jing Zhaoyin ⑤. Later, he was appointed as the Minister of the Ministry of Personnel ⑥ and worshiped as the general of the auxiliary state. In one year, Wang Meng's official position was promoted five times. Wang Meng was only 36 years old that year. From then on, Wang Meng took off his lice-infested rags and the dustpan he relied on to make a living, and helped Fu Jian to radically reform politics and use his talents to the best of his ability. The former Qin Dynasty had talents like Wang Meng, and the country prospered from then on, and soon became a powerful country in the north. Wang Yingchen, a reform-minded scholar in the early years of the Southern Song Dynasty, would never have achieved what he did later if he had not been discovered by Yu Chuchu, the county lieutenant in his hometown of Yushan County (now Yushan, Jiangxi), that he was a talented young man. A career. Wang Yingchen was a native of Yushan, Shinshu. He was dignified and sophisticated since he was a child. He knew how to study hard at the age of five. He often spoke amazing words when dealing with people and knew many strange words, which was praised by people. His father was an archer in Yushan County Government. He had neither social status nor much cultural accomplishment. His family was very poor and could not afford lamp oil for lighting at night. Wang Yingchen wanted to read more, so he had to go up the mountain to pick up some dry branches and light them as a lamp to read at night. After he studied in a private school in his hometown for two years, the private school teacher was no longer able to teach him, and his family really could not afford to send him to a county school. At that time, it happened that a scholar named Yu Fan was sent to Yushan County as a county captain. After he took office, he found that Yushan County was very isolated and culturally backward, so he vigorously expanded county schools and cultivated talents. He heard that the county government had an archer's son named Wang Yingchen, who was a diligent and studious child, so he asked him to take the exam in person. As soon as they met, Yu Fan was very happy to see that Wang Yingchen was handsome and energetic, so he wrote the first couplet of "horse hoofs breaking through the green grass" and asked Wang Yingchen to respond to the second couplet. Wang Yingchen immediately blurted out: "Dragon claws, take Bai Baiyun away." Yu Chuan was very surprised when the little child turned out to be a dragon, which symbolizes the emperor. He decided that Wang Yingchen would be a pillar of the country when he grew up, so he allowed him to study in the county school with free tuition and provided room and board. Two years later, he betrothed his daughter to him. When Wang Yingchen was 18 years old, Yu Ao asked him to go to Lin'an (now Hangzhou), the capital, to take the Jinshi examination. Wang Yingchen put forward the famous saying in the examination paper that "to govern, one should base it on sincerity", which greatly moved Emperor Gaozong of the Song Dynasty. He personally named him the top candidate. From then on, the son of an archer from Yushan County rose to great heights and became a nationally renowned scholar in a new subject, and began to embark on the road of becoming an official. Later, Wang Yingchen successively served as a official of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, a secretary and a young eunuch, and an acting minister of the Ministry of Civil Affairs. He was also sent to Sichuan to serve as a Zhizhi envoy7 and concurrently as the prefect of Chengdu. His highest official position was that of a minister of the Ministry of civil affairs and a bachelor's degree in Hanlin.8 . Everywhere he went, he carried out reforms to clarify official administration and save expenditures, which was quite popular. Later, Wang Yingchen was squeezed out by traitorous ministers and demoted. He returned to his hometown, opened a library and taught apprentices, and contributed to the development of culture and education in his hometown. People said with deep emotion about Wang Yingchen's growth: The son of an archer would never be able to get ahead without the strong support of the county lieutenant and father-in-law Yu Fan. Of course, his own hard work is also a very important factor in his success.
I have told many stories about Qianliju meeting Bole. Finally, I still have to go back and emphasize what I said before. This is: Qianliju must first have the ability to run thousands of miles. This relies on his own efforts. It is the result of hard work, this is an internal factor. Bole Xiangma distinguishes Qianliju from the ordinary horses, allowing it to be reused and galloping. This is chance, but an external cause. It is possible that a genuine thousand-mile horse will not meet Bole for a while, or even never meet Bole, but most outstanding thousand-mile horses will sooner or later be appreciated by Bole, who will select it so that it can run thousands of miles. Mercedes-Benz. It is impossible for a lazy and stupid horse to meet a Bole-like figure and force it to be used as a thousand-mile horse, because it has no ability to run thousands of miles and will eventually die on the roadside.
