1. "Beware of haste and be patient" is a common inversion phenomenon in ancient Chinese. It actually means "be patient and be patient". The plaque "Beware of haste and use patience" was originally written by Kangxi to educate the fourth son of the emperor Yongzheng, citing a sentence in the Buddhist scriptures from Su Shi's "Liuhou Lun": "Don't be surprised when something happens suddenly, and don't get angry when there is no reason." The purpose is to advise Yongzheng to cultivate his virtue and at the same time encourage himself.

3. "Forbearance" is a very important basic cultivation. Its meaning is to control emotions and always maintain a peaceful and pure state. Only in this way can we make relatively correct judgments. The probability of making a correct judgment when the brain is congested and extremely angry is extremely low. Therefore, the first step to sustaining a business is tolerance, and the foundation for building a business is frugality.
