Forbes is an American business magazine.
The magazine is published every two weeks and is known for original articles on finance, industry, investing and marketing topics. Forbes also covers technology, communications, science, and law. Forbes magazine is headquartered in New York City. Its main competitors in the US business magazine category are Fortune and Bloomberg Businessweek. The magazine is well known for the lists and rankings it provides, including a list of the richest Americans (Forbes 400) and a ranking of the world's top companies (Forbes Global 2000). The motto of Forbes magazine is "The Capitalist Tool" (The Capitalist Tool), the editor-in-chief is Steve Forbes, and the chief executive is Mike Perris.
Forbes was founded in 1917 by Scotsman B.C. Forbes. The purpose of the magazine is "Entrepreneurial Spirit and Tools for Wealth Creation". The content and position of the report belong to the conservatives of the Communist Party of China.
Forbes also publishes Forbes Asia, Forbes Lifestyle and Forbes Women.
