Mom put a big blanket on me and a small towel on her head. Suddenly, there was no fear in my heart, only warmth. We bent down and ran towards the stairs. I pulled my mother to the elevator, but my mother quickly stopped me and said, "In the event of a fire, you must not take the elevator. It is very dangerous." I suddenly realized that just as we were about to go down the stairs, my mother saw that I was still holding the Barbie doll in my hand and said to me seriously: "Put down the toy." I was very reluctant, and my mother said: "You can buy more toys, but Life cannot be bought and nothing is more important than our lives.” After hearing this, I reluctantly threw the toy away. When we reached the second floor, the fire was fierce and smoke filled the air. Finally, we obeyed the command and evacuated to a safe area under the leadership of the firefighters.

Afterwards, I asked my mother: "Weren't you scared at that time?" My mother smiled and said: "I was scared too, but with you by my side, I can't be afraid."
