The first chapter is meditation
Now, we are going to explain what yoga is. Yoga is learning to control the change of consciousness. In this way, the perceiver can restore its true colors. Otherwise, we will agree to these changes. There are five kinds of changes, painful and painless: knowledge, fallacy, fantasy, sleep and memory. Perception, inference and witness are all knowledge. Wrong understanding is fallacy, not from reality. Literal knowledge but no object is fantasy. The loss of awakening produces sleep. What's left of those experiences is memory.
By exercising and not clinging to things, we can control all of the above. Persistence is exercise. After a long time, you can lay a solid foundation. Perseverance means no desire for what you see and hear. Because I know my true self, I have no desire for all kinds of things in the world, which is the highest. The highest meditation is the combination of the true self and the universe, which produces the perception of truth, discrimination and joy. Another kind of meditation is achieved by abandoning secular and lasting exercise, which can dispel those old habits. Those undifferentiated beings, without bodies, completely dissolve into the highest nature.
Others must go through stages of self-confidence, motivation, memory, meditation and intelligence. Some people are strong-willed and will soon enter yoga meditation. Exercise from mild to intense has the best effect. This can also be achieved by obeying God. The spirit of God is not influenced by any nature or behavior. He is the source of all knowledge. He is the mentor of the ancients and even the present. His symbol is the divine voice (AUM). This sound needs to be memorized frequently to succeed. It can reach the consciousness of the universe and make everything accessible. Illness, laziness, hesitation, weakness, materialism, fallacy, inattention and instability are all obstacles to distraction. In addition, there are anxiety, nervousness and uneven breathing. Yoga can overcome all this. Inner peace comes from friendship, kindness, joy and equality. If we treat happiness and pain equally, whether they are worthy or not, we can purify our consciousness. Controlling breathing can also overcome all this. Subtle perception produces the highest change of consciousness and calms the mind. This is due to the transcendental and inner light. And because consciousness controls desire. Also because of the knowledge of dreams and sleep. It is also due to the exercise of meditation. This combination can be from small to large, from atoms to infinity. The real knowledge is that the perceiver, the perceptive ability and the perceived are completely transparent. The perceiver can imagine this object as a flawless gem. True knowledge can visualize objects. At the same time, thinking is transformed, memory is purified, and objects can be presented without thinking. Subtle objects are presented indiscriminately. The above is called meditation with seeds. But if you achieve undifferentiated meditation, your true self will appear. Wisdom and truth are integrated. This is quite different from verbal reasoning. This state of meditation will go beyond the previous thinking habits. Once this control is achieved, seedless meditation will be achieved.
Chapter II Practical Exercise
Yoga is self-discipline, learning classics and obeying God. The purpose is to promote meditation and remove the root causes of obstacles. Ignorance, obsession, infatuation, rejection and greed are the five obstacles in life. Ignorance is the hotbed of the rest, whether it is deep sleep, slight, obstructive or intense. Ignorance regards those who are not eternal, impure, painful and unreal as eternal, pure, happy and true selves. Self is the ability of the perceiver to identify himself with perception. Infatuation is the pursuit of desire. Rejection is living in pain. Greed still exists among knowledgeable people, and it will help itself. When these obstacles are still in a subtle stage, you can do the opposite to eliminate them. If it is formed, it can be eliminated through meditation. Those obstacles come from the past industries and act on the visible and invisible boundaries. Once it takes root, it will affect the situation of life, the length of life and all kinds of experiences. Because the difference between doing good and doing evil is that there are happy fruits and bitter fruits respectively.
For the wise, everything is bitter. Because everything is changing, things become their opposites. The pain in the future can be avoided. The cause of pain is that the perceiver agrees with the perceived. There are all kinds of things and perceptions in this world, in order to free us from this universe. Nature has four characteristics: specificity, non-specificity, differentiation and undifferentiation. The perceiver only perceives himself. Although pure, he still sees things through thinking, and the ego makes him agree with this thinking. The essence of this epistemology is for the benefit of the perceiver. Although these will be destroyed for the awakened one, they still exist for others. When the perceiver and the perceived meet, the world comes into being. Ignorance is its reason. If there is no ignorance, if there is no encounter between the unconscious and the perceived, the perceiver is free. Eliminating ignorance depends on constant discrimination. There are seven stages of intelligence, which are displayed in turn with the growth of knowledge. Through yoga exercise, those impurities will be removed by the light of knowledge, giving birth to discerning wisdom. Discipline, diligence, physical adjustment, pranayama, mindfulness, concentration, meditation and samadhi are eight branches of yoga. Non-violence, no lying, no stealing, no indulgence, no greed. No matter when, where, under what circumstances, and what class you belong to, this is an unbreakable oath. Being clean inside and outside, content, controlling body and senses, studying classics and obeying God are all diligence. If you have the idea of opposing yoga, fight it with the opposite. The instinct of destruction is a harmful idea.
Whether you do it yourself, lead the students, or agree. If greed, anger and confusion become motives, whether gentle or violent, they will bring endless pain and ignorance, so we should develop the opposite. As long as non-violence is determined, hostility will be eliminated. If you don't lie, you can enjoy the rewards of your work. If you don't steal, you can enjoy wealth. If you don't indulge in sex, you can enjoy spiritual strength. If you don't covet, you can get the knowledge of life. Cleanliness brings protection to the body and will not be infected by contact with others. Spiritual cleanliness produces sensory awakening and control. Satisfaction produces the greatest happiness. Physical and sensory perfection comes from keeping precepts and removing those impurities. From continuous learning to unity with heaven. Samadhi is produced by the unity of attention and God. The posture must be stable and comfortable. You can do this by controlling anxiety and meditating infinitely. So there will be no double sexual harassment. Once you master the posture, you should control your breathing. Controlling inhalation and exhalation is pranayama. Outside, inside, or even not moving, we should adjust according to time, place and times, and breathe thin and long. The fourth thing is that breathing is neither outside nor inside. The light shield is removed. This makes the spirit suitable for meditation. If the spirit is divorced from perception, and perception is not mixed with senses, attention will be integrated with itself. So as to achieve the highest control of the senses.
Chapter III The Power of Meditation
Concentration is putting consciousness on one thing. Meditation is a constant awareness of the flow around you. Samadhi is only the object of meditation, and the perception of itself disappears. These three forms of meditation. By mastering meditation, you gain the light of wisdom. This mastery is achieved through different stages. These three problems are more internal than those discussed before. But even these three kinds are not within the scope of nuclear-free. That control state is an activity controlled by spiritual connection, which reduces those habits. Through continuous practice, this cycle has stabilized. When you focus on one thing, your interest in other things will decrease and your attention will be concentrated.
In this realm, the past and the future are the same. Thus, the change of the senses transcends the principle and essence of things. The essence of things is past, present and future. Evolution is formed by the continuous transformation of these three principles. By meditating on these three changes, we can gain knowledge about the past and the future. The knowledge of common words and meanings is confusing. Through meditation, you can learn all about biological sounds. By meditating on past habits, we can learn about past life. Meditate on other people's bodies, and you can know what other people think. I don't know the content of an idea, but I know its internal state. Meditate on the shape of the body, the perception of the shape is blocked, the appearance of the eyes is separated, and the body of the yogi is not seen. The consequences of behavior are fast and slow, and the time of death is known from internal control. Meditation on different forces, such as elephant power, produces elephant power. Meditate on the inner light, and you will gain subtle and distant knowledge. Meditate on the sun and you will gain knowledge about the world. Meditate on the moon and you will gain knowledge about this planet. Meditate on the starry sky, and you will gain the knowledge of starry sky movement. Meditate on umbilical rotation, and you will get the knowledge of body operation. Meditation on the throat can stop hunger and thirst.
Meditation on the tubes in the chest can stabilize the body. Meditate on the light above your head, and you will have super vision. Because of the power of intuition, all knowledge is produced. Meditate on your heart and you will gain knowledge about consciousness. Happiness comes from the difference between soul and wisdom. Through meditation on the true self, you will gain the knowledge of the true self. So as to realize extra sensory perception of hearing, vision, taste and smell. These forces are obstacles to samadhi. When we know the reason why attention is bound, the consciousness of the yogi can enter another person's body. By controlling this spiritual power, yogis can walk on water without being hurt by thorns. He can overcome death. By controlling the energy of life, the body emits light. Meditate on the ether and hearing, and you can hear the voice of heaven. Meditate on the relationship between the ether and the body, and the body of the yogi can become very light and fly in the air. Meditate on your mind, you can leave your body, and then ignorance will be eliminated. Meditation on the subtlety and physical shape, state and function of matter can control matter. This can make the body extremely small, huge and indestructible. This body becomes beautiful, powerful and strong. These senses can be controlled by meditating on the vitality, nature and function of organs. In this way, the body can move as fast as thought, control the extrasensory senses and control the natural elements. By meditating on the relationship between self and life energy, we can do everything and know everything. By destroying the seeds of bondage without desire or desire, you can get rid of all bondage and be free. Practitioners should not be proud of these spiritual powers, because they will cause obstacles and falls. You can gain discerning knowledge by exercising before and after meditation time. This kind of meditation can distinguish two very similar things, even if their characteristics and status are the same. That kind of intuitive knowledge can know everything and its essence. If I really become as pure as life energy, I will achieve perfection and freedom.
Chapter IV Free of charge.
Supernatural powers can be obtained from previous lives, through drugs, through chanting and meditation. The transformation of life from low level to high level is due to the creativity of nature. Behavior, whether good or bad, will not directly lead to transformation, but only eliminate the obstacles of natural forces, just like a farmer can carry out furrow irrigation by removing stones from the field. Consciousness can be generated by the power of the true self. That primitive consciousness still controls those created consciousness.
Only those who reach Samadhi can be freed from their desires and become the highest. The behavior of a yogi is either black or white. But for others, it is the following three kinds: black, white and a mixture of the two. Thus, the three show corresponding results. Even with the barriers of time, space and species, those results can last because of memory and habits. The pursuit of happiness is eternal, while desires and habits have no beginning. It is caused by cause, effect, branch and thing, without which it would not exist. The past and the future exist according to their forms and principles. According to their characteristics, they are either hidden or obvious. Everything is one, because this is the evolution of the whole. The object is the same, but the consciousness is different. Whether things are knowable or unknowable depends on whether they can be recognized by the mind. The knowability or unknowability of things depends on the state to which the mind is adjusted. The perceiver always knows the adjustment of consciousness, because the eternal spirit is constant. Those hearts can't illuminate themselves because they are considered objects. The perceiver and the object cannot be perceived at the same time.
When one kind of consciousness is recognized by another kind of consciousness, it will cause infinite retrogression and ideological confusion. When the mind becomes a higher form of spiritual body, it can perceive higher consciousness. Among all perceptions, perception is colored by the perceiver. The mind is controlled by desire and works for the highest goal, because it has a mixed nature. For those who have resolution, their true selves are separated from their thoughts. If you have a sense of discrimination, you can be free. Sometimes thinking comes from past habits. As mentioned above, to get rid of these habits is to get rid of obstacles. Those States that achieve complete discrimination and completely abandon all kinds of desires are called samadhi. Here you can eliminate all the pain, eliminate all kinds of causal obstacles and get freedom. Knowledge is out of all cover and becomes infinite, and the role of the senses becomes very small. When their goal was achieved, the evolution of the three states stopped. In the end, evolution becomes an obvious transformation. When these three states have fulfilled their purpose, they will reach a comfortable state and know all their knowledge. This is absolute freedom.
The Yoga Sutra written by patanjali, a yoga master, is a fundamental classic of the Yoga School. The scripture records the profound exposition of ancient Indian masters on almost all fields such as sacredness, man, self-nature, material view, body, spirit, Sanskrit pronunciation and so on. Yoga Sutra guides yogis to complete their spiritual journey. The book is full of exploration of the material and spiritual world, telling people the most fundamental morality. All the wisdom in the book cannot be fully explained by future generations. Masters of all ages are writing books about Yoga Sutra. The idea of Yoga Sutra is reflected everywhere in the life of practitioners.
Yoga Sutra was written around 300 AD. Historical relics show that yoga was practiced in India in 3000 BC. Patanjali's greatness lies in his systematic arrangement of various sects prevailing at that time without prejudice, and his combination with the philosophical system of classical number theory made yoga recognized by decent Indian philosophy, thus influencing various Indian philosophies and gaining the core position of Indian civilization.
Osho explained patanjali's Yoga Sutra in ten volumes. It takes a long time to read all ten volumes. So a senior yoga teacher in Germany condensed it into the first, second and third volumes of The Book of Yoga. The Yoga Sutra, translated into Chinese by Chandana of Taiwan Province Province, is the most classic and outstanding one among all the works explaining the Yoga Sutra.
