In love, it is a social relationship that stabilizes the people's livelihood. It seems that both are indispensable. Originally, the relationship between law and emotion was mutual, naturally generated and needed each other.

? Some people say that in the story of the lost street pavilion in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Kong Ming's punishment for Ma Su was too cruel and unreasonable. But who dares to say that law directly impacts rationality? Fundamentally speaking, love is built between people, and consolidating the wall of love is Buddhism. Without law, people can be free, and feelings transcend the boundaries of rationality, which also makes the parties lose their definition of feelings. Gradually, selfishness will replace selflessness and arrogance will replace humility. Can this relationship be regarded as arrogant and selfish friendship? No, obviously, people at that time have completely lost the feelings between people. For another example, two close friends, when one of them borrowed money, because they were familiar with each other, did not follow the normal lending process and did not sign an iou, which led to a dispute between the two sides because the repayment date was unclear. Such an ending is undoubtedly a painful injury for both sides. Although they finally got back together through complicated procedures, there was still a gap between feelings. It can be seen that without the mutual restraint of law, people's thoughts and behaviors will expand infinitely, thus undermining the interests of both sides. But doesn't this violate its original meaning-promoting social stability and making the relationship between people harmonious?

? In fact, in the above example of borrowing money, the law should play its role. After adding "law", a balance is established between law and emotion. It standardizes the behavior between people, making "love" established in a proper position and not beyond its proper position. Back to the story of Ma Su beheaded by Kong Ming in tears, it is not unreasonable for Kong Ming to order the execution of Ma Su. First of all, Masu signed a written military order that Masu made a commitment to the street pavilion, and Masu must be responsible for what he did. Second, it is jurisprudence and human feelings. But we should not only look at the feelings of Ma Su and He, but also look at the kindness to the 10,000 people of this Shu army. At this point, Ma Su betrayed the trust of tens of thousands of people and destroyed the human feelings of tens of thousands of people. As a leader, Kong Ming needs to build his own military prestige and win the support of thousands of people in Qian Qian. Therefore, the death penalty is also the best arrangement for Masu, and this result is also the highest level of mutual affection between Kong Ming and Masu.

This is also a derivative of emotion that naturally arises and develops to a certain height to consolidate emotion. If there is no love, the law will cease to exist. If there is no law, love will almost be lost. In reality, so is the nearest court. If the judge uses the law mechanically to deal with the current case, it may be legal but unreasonable. In reality, the court sometimes reduces the degree of punishment because of human feelings. Because the law provides flexibility, scope or choice, we should take care of rationality properly, but we must take care of rationality within the scope of the law.
