In order to save water, everyone uses a basin of water to wash their faces in the morning and heat it up to wash their feet together in the evening.

The outpost is located at the wind outlet, where the wind blows more than 300 days a year, and the wind force is above Level 6. Every year, the soldiers from the outpost walk down the snow-capped mountains and return to Yadong County.
