Yang Zhen (54- 124) was born in Huayin, Hongnong, China in the Eastern Han Dynasty. Yang Zhen, the son of Bao Yang, is the first generation of "four generations of Qiu, one after another" in Bao Yang's "title ring" allusion to save yellowbird in Huayin Mountain. In the early years of the Eastern Han Dynasty, Yang Zhen was a secretariat and satrap, upright and incorruptible in power. He was once named Qiu for refusing to accept bribes, and said the eternal famous saying "Heaven knows, earth knows, I know, and son knows". To commemorate Yang Zhen, the people of Changyi built the "Four Knowledge Hall", the Yang Zhen Temple and the Memorial Tower. The Book of the Later Han Dynasty says that "from the shock to the surface, four generations of autumn", Yang Zhen, Yang Ci, and grandparents and grandchildren are all autumn or Stuart, collectively known as "four generations of three fairs" (autumn and Stuart were three fairs in the Eastern Han Dynasty). Yang Xiu at the end of Han Dynasty was the great-grandson of Yang Zhen. Sui Wendi Sui Wendi claimed to be the 14th grandson of Yang Zhen, and Yang Jiajiang of the Northern Song Dynasty was also his descendant. Yang Zhen's quality can be seen from Zi Tongzhi Jian's description: 1. Yang Zhen has been particularly clever and studious since he was a teenager. 2. Yang Zhen is very enthusiastic about education. From the age of 20, he ignored the invitation of the local county governor, recruited him as an official, devoted himself to setting up his own school, and began his 30-year education career. 3. Yang Zhen is an honest official, who does not seek personal gain. He always takes "being honest and upright" as his motto, and strictly demands that he "be free from personal censure", which is not only a very valuable virtue in ancient times, but also a quality that modern people very welcome and admire.
Yang is really a meritocratic official, selecting and appointing talents. Yang is really an official who hates evil and dares to speak out.
