(1) "Reading Shan Hai Jing", a total of thirteen, compiled into a group, this poem is the tenth. Shan Hai Jing consists of eighteen volumes, most of which describe foreign bodies and myths and legends in ancient mountains and rivers at home and abroad.

② Jingwei: the name of a bird in ancient mythology. According to Shan Hai Jing Bei and Yi Shu Ji, in ancient times, there was a female named Nu Wa who drowned while swimming in the East China Sea, and her soul became a bird. She often fills the East China Sea with wood and stones. Title: Use your mouth. Microwood: fine wood.

(3) Xingtian: The mythical figure was beheaded and buried in Changyang Mountain after failing to fight for power with the Emperor of Heaven. But he refused to give in, with his chest as his eyes and his navel as his mouth, and still waved his shield axe. (Shan Hai Jing Overseas West Jing)

The same thing: since Nu Wa drowned and became a bird, she has been just like others. Even if she dies again, it will only change from a bird to another thing, and there is nothing to worry about.

⑤ Melting: The sky has been killed and turned into a foreign body, but it has no regrets about the past struggle with God.

⑥ ACTS: It is useless. Past: Thank you, Sir.

⑦ Good day: A good day to realize your ambition. I: Yes. These two sentences mean that Jingwei and Xingtianbai have lived their past ambitions, but can they wait for a good day to realize their ideals!

Main idea of ancient poetry

Jingwei mouth contains small pieces of wood and fills the deep sea. Xingtian still wields a shield axe when he fails, and the spirit of fortitude will always exist.

It is the same creature, without sorrow, turning into a foreign body and without repentance. In vain, how can we expect a beautiful moment?

This poem was originally the tenth in Reading the Classics of Mountains and Seas, praising the tenacious fighting spirit of Jingwei and Xingtian, and pinning the poet's generous mood and will. The poem "Jing Wei" and "Xing Tian" are two touching stories in Shan Hai Jing.

Tao Yuanming felt very sorry for the demise of the industrial Eastern Jin Dynasty and was saddened by the killing of Emperor Gong. He not only quoted historical stories and criticized Emperor Wu of Song for the Jin Dynasty, but also used ancient myths and legends to express his injustice and resistance.

The first half of the poem praises Jing Wei and Xing Tian. "Jingwei holds a micro-wood, and will dance with Xingtian to fill the sea, and its ambition will always be there." Jingwei is an elf who became a girl after the death of Emperor Yan. Although she is small and weak, she often fills the East China Sea with trees from the western hills. "Micro-wood" and "the sea" are such a strong contrast. When can we fill the sea with micro-wood? Just like Yu Gong, a stone can move mountains. But what the poet praises is this persistent spirit and determination to persist. As long as you have this spirit and determination, you will surely succeed one day! "Xingtian Dance" tells the story of Xingtian holding an axe and a shield, unwilling to fail. Xingtian was beheaded by the Emperor of Heaven, still waving his cards, and his resolute spirit remained the same. The word "solid" in "Fierce ambition always exists" points out that Xingtian's "fierce ambition" is innate and will never fail, and will not be reduced by failure or death. The poet saw their indomitable will in Jing Wei and Xing Tian, and praised them greatly, which implies that the poet himself has been encouraging himself with this spirit.

In the second half of this poem, the poet further praised the tenacious fighting spirit of these two heroes. Although the opportunity has been lost and they are ambitious, they are carefree and have no regrets. Through the actions of Jingwei and Xingtian, I have placed my grief and indignation.

"The same thing without worry, also won't regret it. The past that has just been set in my heart, good days can wait! " The first two sentences describe the reasons why "Jingwei" and "Xingtian" are so resolute. "The same thing" and "melting away" mean materialization. "Materialization" generally refers to the change of life and death. Life and death are just different forms of materialization, and death is just another form of life. Nu Wa turned into Jing Wei, Xing Tian turned into a strange god of milk navel, and all of them materialized into other things, and their spirits never died. Therefore, whether they take the title of micro-wood to fill the sea or dance with the enemy, they can be carefree and never repent. Here, the poet inspires himself to struggle without regrets with the philosophy of materialization. The last two sentences are another ups and downs of the poet's thoughts and feelings: on the surface, it is a sigh that Jing Wei and Xing Tian have a past, but can they wait when they get what they want? In fact, the poet lamented that the ideal could not be realized. The predecessors thought that these two sentences were confessions of the poet.

Due to the influence of family background, Tao Yuanming and the dead Jin Dynasty are emotionally inseparable. After Emperor Wu of Song came to power, he wantonly killed dissidents, which made him more dissatisfied with Liu Song's regime. Therefore, we cannot correctly understand the positive role played by Emperor Wu of Song and his New Deal in history. This is the poet's limitation. But his opposition to Song Wudi and the Jin Dynasty is closely related to his hatred of the darkness of the times and political cruelty. In this sense, criticizing Liu Song regime is also a continuation of criticizing the decadent Eastern Jin society.

This poem is tortuous in writing, obscure in meaning, and quite different in style and artistic conception from the one selected above. However, in his bold and unconstrained style, he still maintains the poet's characteristics of strong appeal, simplicity and implication, and natural and appropriate reasoning.
