Drainage engineering is divided into two aspects, one is municipal drainage (in some places, it is merged with municipal water supply to form municipal engineering), which is related to urban drainage pipelines, and the other is water treatment. At present, the development trend is relatively good, mainly sewage treatment plants and reclaimed water treatment, and there is a lot of room for development in the case of water shortage in the north.

Building water supply and drainage is the largest employment field, mainly water supply and drainage and fire fighting pipes in buildings. Just building a house should consider these, so it is needed everywhere.

Generally, employment depends on the unit you go to, such as administrative unit, design institute, construction unit, party a, supervision, cost, etc. Different industries will be different and cannot be generalized.

Finally, regarding the difficulty, the first two courses are highly professional, but the employment scope is also limited, and the construction and arrangement are very simple, but there will also be other majors such as HVAC and environment to compete for business.

There are not too many requirements, and it should be regarded as a relatively studious major.
