Practice in the world
People live all their lives, and plants grow in autumn. If I had to say anything different, I would say this heart. It is this heart that people practice in this world.

A philosopher once said: Life is not the day you live, but the day you record. So let's write down the days we lived and the things we experienced.

There is no road in life in vain, and every step counts. People who live in this world, even if they are good at keeping in good health, count the progress of modern medicine, but it is only a hundred years now, just like a moment in the long river of history.

There is a good saying: we can't change the length of life, but we can change the thickness of life. I think that the thickness of this life depends on practice.

When it comes to spiritual practice, many people will think of hermits living in deep mountains and old monks living in ancient temples. I appreciate Wang Yangming more. This world of mortals is the best monastery in life, leading to knowledge and insight, and finally becoming a generation of sages.

You and I are both ordinary people. We don't have the heart to be saints and saints. We just want to live a full life in this life, which also depends on practice.

To practice on earth, we should read more books by sages.

People have been learning since birth. However, due to the limitation of time, energy and cognition, it is limited to rely on yourself or people you can meet to improve your self-cultivation. The classic works handed down from generation to generation by sages are the essence of their life thoughts. We practice by reading sages' books, just like talking to sages through time and space, reading silently and thinking quietly. Some problems will always be solved in an instant, just like enlightenment and comprehension.

Practice on earth, be diligent.

The Diamond Sutra says, "You are the Buddha." . Food time. Get dressed and get a bowl. Begging in luxury and greatness. In its city. Begging for the second time Return it to this office. The meal is finished. Take the cloak away. Wash feet. Sit in your seat.

According to the Buddhist scriptures, a Buddha, such as the Buddha, has achieved positive results and has to eat, sleep, wash his feet and meditate every day. This is normal, just like our family and neighbors.

Actually, it's not. Things are human beings, and hearts are human beings. If you become a Buddha, eating is eating, sleeping is sleeping, and washing your feet is also washing your feet, meditation or meditation. What about us ordinary people? Thinking about sleeping when eating, thinking about meditation when washing feet, can't calm down, how can it be the same?

Therefore, it is this heart that practices. When we do things, we concentrate on what is in front of us, strive for perfection, and have no distractions. We don't make excuses for ourselves or make trouble for others, that is, doing things well is practicing.

If you want to practice in the world, you must set this heart.

In the Diamond Sutra, Bodhi asked the Buddha: Where should the cloud live? Why should the cloud subdue its heart? The Buddha said to Subhuti: You should live like this and surrender your heart like this.

Man's practice is, in the final analysis, the practice of the mind. People have all kinds of troubles, emotions and sorrows, but their hearts have not settled down, and everything is chaotic.

The trouble is that we ask too much and desire too much. There are too many temptations, money, status, beauty, fame and fortune in the world. If you can't control this heart, it's a mess.

Tao Te Ching said: Five colors make people blind, five tones make people deaf, five flavors make people cool, galloping and hunting makes people crazy, and exotic goods can hinder people. It's the saint's stomach, not his eyes. Go and get this somewhere else.

If you want to settle this heart, you have to do subtraction and give up. But it is easier said than done. As long as you have experienced ups and downs, you will cherish the plain road. After experiencing ups and downs, you can realize that plain is true.

Let yourself live in the present, put your mind right, accept the joys and sorrows of life, good and bad, experience it with your heart, experience it slowly, think deeply, face it calmly no matter what happens, and finally say: Oh! That's right! That's good!

What you have experienced is your life.
