These two poems were written in Kuizhou, describing autumn scenery on the river. Kuizhou is close to the Yangtze River, from which the river flows into Qutang Gorge. It is windy here, especially in late autumn. The poet looked up and saw the endless leaves rustling down and rolling along the Yangtze River. The majestic, vast, cold and withered weather makes the poet feel more spacious and has a long history. How lonely and miserable I feel when I think of my lost years and unfulfilled ambitions! The All-China Federation is neat and smooth, and the use of two overlapping words "rustling" and "rolling" sounds powerful and magnificent. The predecessor called it "the masterpiece of ancient and modern times", which is not flattering.
