Although I am an only child with superior family conditions, I have never been "arrogant". Strict and good family education and warm and harmonious family atmosphere have cultivated my good character of respect, understanding, friendship, integrity, optimism and self-improvement. At home, I try my best to do my own thing, cleaning, tidying my room and cleaning my clothes. I have strong self-care ability. I also often communicate with my grandparents, accompany them to chat, walk and work, and show respect and love for my elders in my manners. In view of the fact that the old people can't speak foreign languages, I specially compiled a plan and course for learning English, saying that "everyone should know a foreign language at the Beijing Olympic Games" so that grandparents can learn foreign languages happily. Being a little teacher and teaching the old people, the family is happy and laughing. I often make them laugh, and they call me "Happy Teacher". My parents are very busy and work hard. In order to let them relax, I have been insisting on going home by bus after school and sharing housework for my parents since the fourth grade. In the evening, my parents came back late from work, so I took the initiative to cook and wash dishes first, in order to save my mother something. Once my parents worked overtime and missed dinner time, so I learned from my mother, cooked rice and tried to make cucumber, egg and laver soup. When my parents came home, they smelled the food and were very moved. They said, "I am very proud and very happy to have such a considerate, sensible and capable daughter." I don't compare with others. I'm frugal and never spend money or ask for anything. I recorded every lucky money and pocket money and asked my mother to manage it for me. Sometimes I spend a lot of money on my mother, and I criticize her and urge her to be frugal, so that I was rated as an "excellent supervisor" by my father. I am polite and gentle, and my relatives, friends and neighbors like being with me very much.
Second, a good student at school, a teacher's little assistant.
I have developed a good habit of reading and studying since I was a child, and I have made the ambition of "reading thousands of books and traveling on Wan Li Road", hoping to be a useful person to the country and society when I grow up. I have a positive learning attitude, study hard and firmly believe that "genius comes from diligence" and "no pains, no gains". I am tenacious, not afraid of difficulties and full of energy. From senior one to senior four, I have always maintained excellent academic performance, ranking among the best in my class. In the Chinese, math and English competitions every year, I am on the list with excellent results. I am strict with myself and have developed good study habits. Can concentrate on listening carefully in class, can take the initiative to speak in class, can cherish the time, can ask for the benefits of 50 minutes. If you encounter problems you don't understand, you can take the initiative to ask your teachers and classmates humbly, and you will never go home without problems. Homework is never delayed and can be completed independently with good quality and quantity. Homework is always written neatly and accurately. I am eager for knowledge, make good use of time, and have strong self-learning ability. In the winter vacation of 2007, I taught myself the English Class B, a public course, and deliberately didn't attend remedial classes in society, just to test the ability and effect of self-study. In the exam in March, I passed the written test and oral test at one time and passed the grade smoothly. Participated in the 5th "Haixin Cup" oral English contest for primary and secondary schools and won the "third prize". In August, 2009, I took the London Trinity Oral English Test Band 3, and achieved excellent results. I have a wide range of interests. In my spare time, I can seize the time and read a lot of extracurricular books such as newspapers, popular science books and literary masterpieces. As a squadron cadre, I know that "standing out from the crowd" is nothing, which can influence other students to make progress together and make "colorful is always spring". Therefore, whether I am a monitor or a study committee member, I am strict with myself everywhere, driving other students with good words and deeds, and constantly giving play to the exemplary leading role of the backbone in the class. Usually, I am also very concerned about state affairs and new things in society. When Beijing succeeded in bidding for the Olympic Games, I rejoiced and studied hard, hoping to become a small volunteer and serve the Olympic Games. At the beginning of 2008, when I heard that people were suffering from the freezing disaster in the south, I was really worried about them. It happened that the community where I lived organized a donation activity, and I quickly urged my mother to clean up the clothes and quilts that were idle at home, wash them and donate them. I am also particularly environmentally conscious. I collect all the rubbish when I go out and never throw it about. Waste batteries are also received together and sent to the place where batteries are recycled. For a country that lacks water and energy, I have developed a good habit of saving every drop of water, electricity and paper since I was a child, which can remind my family and people around me to protect the environment together. Every time the school organizes the recycling of waste materials, I am very active. I always send newspapers and water bottles that I have accumulated for many days to school. I was once rated as "little guardian of environmental protection" and "little model of energy saving" by the school and Haidian District.
I have made some achievements in the past few years, but I think that's all in the past. I will work harder, set higher goals and strive for greater progress in the future.
