"Tao Te Ching" Chapter 27 Good deeds have no traces, good words have no flaws

Original text

Good deeds have no traces Tracks;

Good words are flawless;

Good numbers do not require planning;

Good closure, nothing to do but cannot open;

Good at knotting, and cannot be untied without a rope.

Therefore, the sage is always good at saving people, so he never abandons others;

He is always good at saving things, so he never abandons things. This is called enlightenment.

Therefore, a good person is the teacher of a bad person;

A bad person is the resource of a good person.

If you don’t value your teacher and don’t love your talents,

Although you are very wise, you will be confused.

It means to be wonderful.

Translation

He who is good at walking will leave no traces;

He who is good at talking will not make mistakes;

He who is good at talking will not make mistakes;

Those who are good at counting don't need bamboo bars;

Those who are good at closing don't use tacks so that people can't open them;

Those who are good at tying don't use ropes so that people can't untie them.

Therefore, saints always save people, so no one is abandoned; they are always good at making the best use of things, so there are no abandoned items.

This is called the hidden wisdom.

So good people can be teachers of bad people, and bad people can be lessons for good people.

If you do not respect your teacher and do not cherish his role as a reference,

Although you think you are smart, you are actually very confused.

This is a profound and subtle truth.

Interpretation

First, "Good deeds leave no trace."

True brilliance and wisdom is that "good deeds leave no trace" and show no trace. This is the expression of Tao's natural inaction and traceless nature. In other words, only by conforming to the Tao can true intelligence and wisdom be produced.

A truly smart person is good at learning, chooses the good and follows it, takes the good as his teacher, and be kind to the good and stay away from the evil. And this learning does not depend on the teacher or the so-called qualifications, but the key lies in self-study, self-understanding, mastery of skills, everything will come naturally, and you can learn everything without a teacher. This is the highest learning ability.

The so-called "great wisdom is like stupidity" means that people who seem stupid and dull often contain great wisdom and wisdom.

A truly smart and intelligent person does not show off his talents or show off his sharp edges. He knows how to keep a low profile and keep a low profile. When the time comes, he takes decisive action to stand out and become a blockbuster.

My insights: Now I am far away from the truly smart and intelligent people, but now I can do "good deeds" - try my best to help others, and it is best to "not show up" trace". Because "Consideration that is not noticed by others is thoughtfulness."

Secondly, "The saint is always good at saving people, so he never abandons others; he is always good at saving things, so he never abandons things."

All things in the world have their own nature, talents, and belongings. The sage has seen this, so he is good at making use of all things, without giving up or leaving out any of them. He teaches and makes them suitable for each one. According to their nature, each can use his talents to the best of his ability, and each can use them in their proper place.

So how to do this?

The answer is naturally inaction! Let everything develop its natural nature and develop itself according to its own laws. If all things can develop themselves well, the world will naturally achieve great governance. This is in line with the Dao and is a hidden wisdom.

The most advanced skills and realms are natural, seamless and clear; the most advanced behaviors are to act on the right path, assess the situation, let nature take its course, and never take it for granted, or It's just wishful thinking.

My sentiments: Never give up on any student, do your best to guide children to learn happily and help them grow up healthily both physically and mentally!

Third, "A good person is the teacher of an unkind person; an unkind person is the resource of a good person."

In other words: a good person can be a teacher of an unkind person, and an unkind person can be a teacher of an unkind person. It can be used as a reference for good people.

My thoughts: I want to be grateful to all the people I meet, whether they are kind people or bad people. Why? Because kind people are my role models. From them, I can learn how to do good things. On the contrary, bad people are also my teachers, and their behavior will remind me that bad behavior is not acceptable! Exploit strengths and avoid weaknesses, and choose what is good. This is my idea.
