Confucius put forward "the benevolent loves others", "don't do to others what you don't want others to do to you" and "governing the country by virtue", demanding that rulers observe people's feelings, oppose tyranny and arbitrary punishment and killing, advocate extensive understanding and consideration of others, and adjust and coordinate social interpersonal relations and stabilize social order by loving others.
I. Kindness
Confucius' thought of "benevolence" emphasizes that people should live in harmony, respect each other, care for each other and help each other. He believes that "the benevolent loves others" embodies the goodness and truth of human nature, and we should treat others with love to make the relationship between people better.
Second, the doctrine of the mean
Confucius' doctrine of the mean advocates keeping a proper balance and justice when dealing with things, and don't pursue one aspect too much and ignore the other. He believes that "integrity and honesty", this attitude will not make people go to extremes and fall into a situation.
Third, rule the country by courtesy.
Confucius' thought of "rule by courtesy" advocates governing the country by courtesy and governing the people by courtesy. He believes that society needs certain norms and order to develop steadily, and etiquette is the most basic way to regulate social behavior. Follow proper etiquette, so that moral standards can be more widely implemented in all aspects of society.
Fourth, fate.
Confucius' thought of "destiny" emphasizes the harmonious relationship between man and nature and between man and society. He believes that human beings are endowed with certain missions and tasks. Under this premise, individuals should be cautious, try their best to obey the destiny, and play their duties and roles.
Introduction to Confucius:
Confucius, whose name was Zhong Ni, was a great philosopher, educator and politician in ancient China, and was praised as the founder of Confucianism by later generations. A native of Qufu, Lu (now Qufu, Shandong), he was the son of a courtier of Lu.
Confucius was smart and studious since childhood, and he was proficient in etiquette, music, shooting, imperial, calligraphy and mathematics, which was the first of the six arts. He used to be an editor of Lu, Scott and Chunqiu, but because of his integrity, he was repeatedly rejected and exiled.
After the death of Confucius, his disciples compiled the Analects of Confucius and other works, which recorded Confucius' words and deeds and thoughts. These books are regarded as one of Confucian classics by later generations.
