After reading this short story, I felt a lot. I think the Monkey King is not only smart, studious and diligent, but also has a firm goal-to learn the magic of immortality. In order to achieve his goal, he resolutely left the happy and carefree Guo Hua and embarked on a long road to study. After layers of tests, Wukong got the opportunity to learn the art of immortality. He seized this hard-won opportunity, practiced hard day after day, never complained, and finally achieved his goal and learned a skill.
This makes me feel ashamed. Compared with the Monkey King, I am far behind him. I set a study goal, such as reading Chinese for half an hour every morning and listening to English for half an hour every night, but I didn't stick to it, either because I got up late today or because I watched TV yesterday, not to mention working hard for the goal.
Through this short story, I understand a truth: success depends on our goals and efforts to achieve them. Then, set a goal from today, and let's work hard to achieve it like the Monkey King.
