China has always been people-oriented, while Western Europe is god-oriented. Ancient Confucian people-oriented thought was born in the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period. "People" means common people, as opposed to "Jun". "People-oriented", in Mencius' words, means "people are important, and monarch is light". Before the Tang Dynasty, there was only "people-oriented" and there was no "people-oriented". "People" was renamed as "people", so "people-oriented" became "people-oriented". But in the Tang Dynasty, the meaning of "people-oriented" was aimed at the monarch, and "people-oriented" was a reflection of people and things. People think that all the people are the foundation of the country. Governing the country should be based on protecting the people's security and getting the people.
