Wang Shouren (October 31, 1472 - January 9, 1529), His real name is Wang Yun, his courtesy name is Bo'an, and his nickname is Yangming. He is from Yuyao, Zhejiang, and is of Han nationality. An outstanding thinker, writer, military strategist, and educator in the Ming Dynasty, he was the son of Wang Hua, the Minister of Civil Affairs in Nanjing.
In the twelfth year of Hongzhi (1499), he became a Jinshi and started his career as the head of the Ministry of Justice. He successively served as Longchang Yicheng of Guizhou, magistrate of Luling, censor of Youqiandu, governor of Southern Jiangxi, governor of Guangdong and Guangxi, and minister of the Ministry of War of Nanjing. , Zuodu Yushi and other positions, he successively quelled the bandit rebellions in Southern Jiangxi, Guangdong and Guangxi and Zhu Chenhao's rebellion.
