Confucianism's pursuit of joining the WTO requires hard work, courage and determination. In three words, it is "affordable".
What is "affordable"? Look at the word "Confucianism"-a "person" on the left and a "need" on the right, which together are "human needs". People live in the world and have various spiritual or survival needs. In order to meet these needs, we need to acquire them. Go get it. You can afford it when you get it.
How can I afford it? Wang Guowei pointed out in "Ci Hua on Earth" that those who achieve great things in ancient and modern times must go through three realms. These three realms embody the spirit of Confucianism, so they are Tao.
The first realm is "last night, the west wind withered the green trees, climbing the stairs alone and looking at the horizon." Climb high and look far, aim high, be far-sighted and ambitious. Life, ambition determines the direction, pattern determines the height; Streams can only enter the lake, and rivers can enter the sea. Therefore, to do things, we must first have an ambition in our hearts; If you succeed, you must first expand the pattern in your chest.
The second realm is "the belt is getting wider and wider, and you will never regret it, and you will be haggard for Iraq." Things need to be done before they can be realized. The bigger the cause, the greater the efforts and painstaking efforts, and even great difficulties and hardships. In this world, it has always been "hard work and success"; Therefore, in any case, it is necessary to be "healthy and healthy, and a gentleman will strive for self-improvement."
The third realm is "looking for her in the crowd, suddenly looking back, that person is there, the lights are dim." This is a gradual maturity and growth in hardships, and finally it suddenly blooms and bears fruit. There is an important truth in this, that is, what Su Dongpo said, "accumulated wealth and thin hair". Only thick and thin hair can make hair thin. What people have to do is to accumulate and wait for their hair to become thinner.
This is a complete path of affordability and a complete process of career success. Learning from Buddhism and letting go is the pursuit of being born, paying attention to purity. It is required to see the "everything is like a dream bubble" mentioned in the Diamond Sutra and achieve the "five aggregates are empty" mentioned in the Heart Sutra. It can be summed up in three words, that is, "put it down."
What is "letting go"? Look at the word "Buddha"-a person on the left and a "blessing" on the right, which means "no". Together, it means "nobody" and "nobody".
No one is no one, that is, put down yourself and get rid of the shackles of selfishness; People not only know how to refuse, but also put down their desires and get rid of the pursuit of foreign things. These two points can be done, but they can be put down.
How can I put it down? Qing Yuan Xing Si, a Zen monk in the Tang Dynasty, once proposed three realms of participating in Zen, namely Tao. The first realm is "seeing mountains is mountains and seeing water is water".
For example, in the beginning, when people are young, their minds are simple. They believe what they see and what others say. Of course, looking at the world in this way is simple and rude, and what you see is often only the surface. But at the same time, it is because of simplicity that I don't care about it, so I don't worry about it. This is the mentality of letting go.
