Mr. Shen Yongxing has been fond of calligraphy and painting since he was a child. For more than 20 years, he has insisted on practicing Yan Ti Duo Pagoda and diligently ceremonial monuments. Later, he fell in love with Mr. Qi Gong's calligraphy. He imitated it with his heart and studied hard.

During his stay in Beijing China, he was fortunate to receive personal guidance from Mr. Qi Gong, Mr. Yang Zaichun, and Mr. Xie Deping, especially Mr. Qi Qi who said that "calligraphy must be done slowly, steadily, mellow, unrestrained, and natural." He benefited a lot. After years of study, he finally developed a style that combines the richness of face and body with the handsomeness of Mr. Qi Gong, and gradually revealed his own unique style and calligraphy characteristics.

Mr. Shen Yongxing’s works have won the second prize in national competitions and the first prize in provincial competitions, and are deeply supported at home and abroad. It has been collected by more than ten countries including Japan, the United Kingdom, Singapore, and Germany. The works have spread domestically to more than ten provinces and cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Gansu, Ningxia, Qinghai, and Heilongjiang.

Shen Yongxing, male, Han nationality, born in November 1941, is from Baoying, Jiangsu.
