There is a local saying about the origin of the name "Jinggangshan": In the early years of the Qing Dynasty, a man named Lan Zixi moved to a small apartment under Wu Zhifeng to escape the war and set up a village. Because it is surrounded by mountains and the terrain is like a well; There is a stream in front of the village. Hakka people call it "Jiang", hence the name "Jingjiang".
Because the village is built by mountains and rivers, this village is also called "Jingjiang Mountain Village". Later, due to the homonym of Hakka accent "Jiang" and "Gang", this village was also called "Jinggangshan Village". Later, Huang moved here and lived for a period of time. He felt that the village was not built on the top of the mountain, but at the foot of the mountain, so he deleted the word "hill" from the word "gang" in Jinggangshan Village and called it "Jinggangshan Village". So there was the place name "Jinggangshan", and Wu Zhifeng was also called "the main peak of Jinggangshan".
