5. Participants

7. Competition Schedule

(1) The results of the above three competition events each account for 50%, 30% and 20% of the full score of 100 points.

(2) The deadline for submission of essays and calligraphy works is August 31, 2015. It will be collected by recommended schools, summarized by member libraries and submitted to the Alliance Reading Promotion Group (contestants’ physical works should be mailed , please send the contestant registration form by email).

(3) The Chinese Studies Knowledge Online Competition will be held from July 1 to August 31, 2015, on the official website of the Shaanxi Provincial Library (please log in to the official website /gxxdr/tiku/ to answer questions) . In order to ensure that the competition is fair, equitable, open and orderly, participating students must register with their real names in advance and truthfully fill in their region, school, grade, class and name (student information will only be used for this competition). Each participating student can only register one username. Anyone who is found to have registered maliciously or registered 2 or more usernames will be disqualified. The competition is a timed quiz.

1. The competition format is a pass-through competition. ***Set 5 levels, each level has 10 questions and each question is worth 2 points. Those who reach 12 points or above will successfully pass the level and can enter the next level. The maximum score for each level is 20 points, and the total score is 100 points.

The final score is the total of the highest scores in each level (must be greater than or equal to 12 points, unpassed levels are worth 0 points).

2. There are 10 questions in each level, all of which are multiple choice questions and are randomly selected by the system. The time limit for answering each level is 5 minutes, and the system will automatically submit the questions when the time is up.

3. Each participating student is limited to 10 attempts per level (adjustable as appropriate). If the student fails to reach 12 points each time after 10 attempts, the entry fails and the competition ends.

4. After passing a level, you can go directly to the next level. If the current level has been cleared less than 10 times, you can continue to clear the current level in order to get a higher score before going to the next level. Once you choose to pass the next level, the original level will be closed and you cannot continue to pass it.

5. In order to prevent participating students from being addicted to the Internet, each level is limited to 2 attempts in one day.

6. For those with the same total score, the score will be determined based on the number of levels cleared and the time taken to answer questions. That is, those who clear more levels and use less time will have their points unchanged, while those who clear fewer levels and use more time will have their scores reduced proportionally.

(4) Award setting

There will be first, second, third place and a number of winning prizes for each of the youth group and youth group. The winners will receive certificates of honor and prizes.
