Mount Emei has a subtropical humid monsoon climate with a pleasant climate, with an average annual temperature of 17.2℃ and an average annual rainfall of 1.555.3 mm, with fertile land and abundant natural resources. Rich in tea, ash and coptis chinensis, it has formed four agricultural industrial advantages, mainly tea, vegetables, Chinese herbal medicines and animal husbandry. National pollution-free tea demonstration bases and provincial pollution-free bases for tea, vegetables, edible fungi, coptis chinensis, high-quality rice and edible bamboo shoots have been built, making it the largest straw mat production base and tea distribution base in China. Emei Mountain enjoys a high reputation in China, and its ash output accounts for 1/2 of the whole country. Mineral resources mainly include coal, iron, copper, shale, limestone, gypsum, mirabilite, granite, potash feldspar, mineral water and phosphate rock, which is the main nonmetallic mining area and building materials base in Southwest China.
The special terrain and rich climatic types make Emei Mountain far away from the world, and its natural resources are well preserved. There are many kinds of wild animals in the mountains. Complete types, complex flora, type species, ancient species, Oriental flora, rare species are more. According to statistics, there are more than 2,300 species of animals in the whole mountain, including 27 rare and special products and economic species: 265 species of birds, accounting for 43% of the total in Sichuan Province; There are 268 species of insects, 53 of which are endemic to Emei Mountain. The hero Papilio and China Butterfly are rare pianos. Amphibians in Sichuan province rank first in China, and the species preserved in Emei Mountain account for 37% of the whole province. Animals such as red panda, Sumen antelope, bee eagle, crested eagle, white giant salamander, giant salamander and earthworm have high ornamental and scientific research value.
Emei Mountain is a tourist city open to the outside world in Sichuan Province, with perfect infrastructure and convenient transportation.
