This is not from any story, but a famous quote from a British poet named John Keats
It should be summed up by his perception of life. You can read it of poetry.
Keats, whose full name is John Keats (1795-1821), was born in London in the late 18th century. He is one of the outstanding British poetry writers and a main member of the Romantic School. . His father was the foreman of a stable. He loved literature since he was a child. Due to his poor family situation, he left school to study medicine when he was under 16 years old. He lost his father at the age of 8 and his mother at the age of 14. Although he supported each other with his younger brother and sister, the sadness of losing his parents prematurely always affected him, so he became passionate about medicine. At Enfield School, Keats received a traditional formal education. In reading and writing, Keats was encouraged by his teacher, Charles Cowden Clarke. The young Keats was very fond of Virgil. When he was 14 years old, he translated Virgil's long poem "Aeneid" into English. In 1810, Keats was sent to be a pharmacist's apprentice. Five years later, Keats was admitted to a medical school in London, but within a year, in 1815, Keats gave up his ambition to become a doctor and concentrated on writing poetry. Keats tried to write poetry very early, and most of his early works were imitations. In 1817, Keats's first collection of poems, "Poems" and "O Solitude", was published, including the famous poem "The Grasshopper and the Cricket". The collection of poems received some good reviews, but also some extremely harsh and offensive reviews in an influential magazine of the time (Blackwood's magazine). Undeterred, Keats made copies of a new collection of poems, "Endymion," the following spring. In the summer of 1818, Keats traveled to northern England and Scotland. On the way, he received news that his brother Tom had severe tuberculosis. Keats immediately rushed home to take care of Tom. At the end of the year, Tom died, and Keats moved to a friend's house in Hampstead, which is now considered Keats House. There, Keats met and fell deeply in love with a young female neighbor, Fanny Brawne. In the following years, illness and financial problems continued to plague Keats, but he surprisingly wrote a large number of excellent works, including "The Night of St. Agnes", "Ode to Autumn" and "Ode to Autumn". Famous works such as "Ode to a Nightingale" and "To Autumn" show the poet's strong feelings and love for nature, winning him great reputation. In March 1820, Keats coughed up blood for the first time. Shortly afterwards, due to rapidly worsening tuberculosis, Keats died on February 23, 1821 while recuperating in Italy. When he died, he was only accompanied by his young and loyal friend, the painter Severn.
By the way, let me show you how a junior high school student feels about this sentence. It’s very good.
Life gives us a huge and infinitely noble gift—youth. Our youth is full of infinite power, full of expectations, full of curiosity, and full of hope. Youth full of hope is a beautiful and irretrievable wealth. It is the beginning of all light and happiness. Therefore, we must hold on to youth, because it always passes by you inadvertently.
Youth can grow old in age, but it never grows old in spirit. A woman's youth is very precious. If you want to maintain your youth, your mood is very important! If a person is in a happy mood, that spontaneous, smooth, feminine softness will not be concealed even if he is naked. Mood is sometimes like a tree, and happiness is the straight trunk. When autumn comes, shake the happy branches, and the yellow leaves and sad clouds will fall one after another. When spring comes, shake the happy branches, and life will smile.
People always look back on their youth, sit and imagine, lamenting that they were childish but did not know how to cherish it. When they lose the courage of youth, the most shameful thing is that they lack the creativity that youth needs. Youth is a common name. It is happiness and beauty, but it is also full of hard training. So when you are in your prime, hurry up and sow the seeds of hope! One day, you will gain something.
But if your youth has passed, please don't be sad. Gently treasure the happy days when the rose flowers bloom in your heart, and look for the direction of my future.
