If it does not constitute a crime, it may be punished for public security. According to the provisions of the criminal law, anyone who intentionally harms another person's body shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than three years, criminal detention or public surveillance. Whoever causes serious injuries shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than three years but not more than ten years.

2. Legal basis: Criminal Law of People's Republic of China (PRC).

Article 234 Whoever intentionally harms another person's body shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than three years, criminal detention or public surveillance.

Whoever commits the crime mentioned in the preceding paragraph and causes serious injuries shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than three years but not more than ten years; Whoever causes death or serious disability by particularly cruel means shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than 10 years, life imprisonment or death. Where there are other provisions in this Law, such provisions shall prevail.

Second, the punishment of intentional injury:

1. Whoever intentionally harms another person's body shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than three years, criminal detention or public surveillance;

2. Whoever intentionally harms another person's body and causes serious injuries shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than three years but not more than ten years;

3. Whoever intentionally harms another person's body by particularly cruel means, causing death or serious disability, shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than seven years, life imprisonment or death.

4. Intentionally harming others' bodies, if it is otherwise provided for in this Law, according to the provisions, this refers to other acts of intentionally committing crimes and harming others' bodies. If there are special provisions in the criminal law, they shall not be convicted and punished for intentional injury. For example, if a woman is raped and the victim is seriously injured, she shall be convicted and sentenced according to the crime of rape, not according to the combined punishment of intentional injury and rape; Whoever causes serious injuries by robbery shall be convicted and sentenced according to the crime of robbery.
