First, when our party took root, it began with propaganda work. During the period of the new-democratic revolution, our party always took propaganda as the vanguard, carried out revolution with one gun and one pen, and waged arduous ideological and public opinion struggles with all reactionary forces at home and abroad, forming a powerful force of "arousing millions of workers and peasants and making concerted efforts".

During the period of socialist revolution and construction, our party vigorously strengthened the political education and ideological transformation of the whole society, put forward the policy of "letting a hundred flowers blossom and a hundred schools of thought contend" and the idea of politicians running newspapers, which promoted the cause of education, science and culture and inspired the great power of "daring to teach the sun and the moon to change the sky".
Third, the significance of learning the history of propaganda
Studying the history of propaganda will lead us to find the right direction in the law of historical progress, innovate in keeping the right, and push the propaganda work from victory to new victory. Through a hundred years of propaganda history, I think that, in the final analysis, only people, only patriotic, dedicated and United people, can be called the real core competitiveness of a country.
Four, all the work done by the current propaganda and ideological front is to build a socialist ideology with strong cohesion and leading power. In the new era, we will use the "big classroom" of social practice to gather the "great energy" of social civilization, build a heart for the country, build a soul for the nation, and gather with every outstanding individual to form a more civilized, advanced and indestructible China.
