The key to the problem is that you confuse the original mind with the six-consciousness mind. "All things arise from the heart" refers to the original heart of one's own nature. It definitely does not refer to the six-consciousness mind that is thinking wildly. Otherwise, I think gold will come... There is a verse in the "Sixth Patriarch's Altar Sutra" "When will the self-nature give rise to all things?" It means that the self-nature and original mind can produce all things. Everything in the universe is empty.
The universe, mountains, rivers, earth, and all things are all illusory images of the original mind, and are the "big dreams" produced by the original mind. This concept is stated by the Buddha in the Surangama Sutra. Very clear.
Dreaming at night is an illusory image of the six consciousnesses. Although the above two illusionary images are similar, they are essentially different. Buddhist scriptures often talk about "dream bubbles", which use the dreams produced by the six consciousnesses at night to simulate the dream of six realms of reincarnation. Not that the two apparitions are exactly the same.
The reincarnation of sentient beings in the six realms in the human realm is a similar "human dream" caused by similar karma. Naturally, one person will not disappear and the same dream will disappear. Whoever's dream wakes up (enlightenment) will have his big dream disappear. The "Heart Sutra" says that "there are no eyes, ears, nose, tongue, or body". If we follow common sense, this is not true. There are obviously eyes, ears, nose, tongue and body, why do you say there are not? Because the Heart Sutra talks about it from the perspective of the phantom of the eyes, ears, nose, tongue, and body produced by the original mind.
When you first come into contact with Buddhist scriptures, you will definitely have questions everywhere. Independent thinking is valuable.
