From: "Magpie Bridge Fairy·Xianyun Nongqiao" is a poem written by Qin Guan, a poet in the Song Dynasty. Original text:
Magpie Bridge Immortal·Xianyun makes tricks
Song Dynasty: Qin Guan
Xianyun makes tricks, flying stars spread hatred, and the distance between Yin and Han is dark. Once the golden wind and jade dew meet, they will win over countless others in the world.
Tenderness is like water, good times are like dreams, and I can’t bear to look at the magpie bridge on my way back. If the love lasts for a long time, how can it last day and night?
Translation:
The thin clouds are changing in the sky, the shooting stars in the sky convey the sadness of lovesickness, and I quietly pass through the distant and endless Milky Way tonight. Meeting on the Chinese Valentine's Day in the autumn wind and white dew is better than those couples in the world who have been together for a long time but seem to be inseparable.
*** tells of lovesickness, tenderness is like water, the brief meeting is like a dream, and when parting, I can't bear to look at the Magpie Bridge Road. As long as the love lasts until death, there is no need to covet the happiness of each other.
Central idea: "Magpie Bridge Immortal" expresses a yearning for a beautiful, long-lasting and sincere love; but when applied to the poet, it should be a kind of self-comfort for the poet's own feelings. The author and his lover are in two places, and he can only comfort himself that the relationship will last forever.

Creative background:
As for the creative background of this word, Liu Yonggang, a professor at Yangzhou University, believes that this word was initiated by Qin Guan to express his love for Changsha. It was written in Chenzhou, southern Hunan, on the Chinese Valentine's Day in the fourth year of Emperor Zhezong's reign (1097).
In the spring of the third year of Shaosheng's reign (1096), Qin Guan took charge of Chenzhou by supervising the prefecture's wine tax and cutting the state's wine tax. Changsha was the only way to go. Qin Guan wrote the song "Magpie Bridge Immortal" in Chenzhou, and expressed his love for the singing girl in Changsha through the Magpie Bridge meeting between the ox and the girl.
Appreciation:
This is a stanza preface to the Chinese Valentine's Day. Its main purpose is to praise the pure love between the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl in the legend. Since the Han and Wei dynasties, there have been many poems praising the story of the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl. Among them, Qin Guan's work is the most spiritual and popular.
The first three sentences use clouds, stars, silver and other objects to show the unique lyrical atmosphere of the Chinese Valentine's Day. "Qiao" and "hate" combine the theme of "begging for cleverness" and the "Cowherd and Weaver Girl" in the Chinese Valentine's Day. The tragic characteristics of the story are clear, sophisticated and poignant.
"Darkness" tells the story of the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl crossing the Milky Way to meet each other, every word is vivid. "When the golden wind and jade dew meet, they will win countless things in the world." The description and discussion are combined to artistically evaluate the annual meeting of the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl.
It is better than millions of human couples staying together all day long. The contrast between "one encounter" and "countless" creates an infinite contrast, which is a high affirmation of the value of love between the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl. The language is vivid and colorful, and the thoughts are clear and lofty.
Change the first three sentences to describe the lingering tenderness of the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl when they meet each other, and the intoxication that is like glue and paint, as if in a dream; "Good Times" refers back to the dependence, love and beautiful expectations of the two before they met; less words, more love , the present and the past are intertwined, and the charm is endless.
Especially the details of "forbearance to look after" depict the complex emotions of two people together but afraid of being separated immediately. "If the love between two people lasts for a long time, how can they be together day and night?" This is the most perfect relationship. These two sentences are highly condensed famous sayings.
It not only points out the characteristics of the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl's love model, but also expresses the author's view of love, and at the same time provides humans with a typical love value standard. The meaning of this poem also has eternal aesthetic value and artistic taste across eras and countries.
