The ancient city, with Linfen River in the south and hills in the north, wins by terrain. The "Jiangzhou Third Floor", "Jiangzhou Lobby", Gothic "Catholic Church" and "Pagoda" rose from west to east in the Tang Dynasty and became important symbols of ancient Jiangzhou. "Jiangyuanchi" was built in the 16th year of Emperor Yangdi's reign (596), and it is the only existing official garden in China. Jiangzhou Hall was founded in the Tang Dynasty and was once the "Shuaifutang" of Zhang Shigui, a famous Tang Dynasty. Longxing temple's "Tang Dynasty Pagoda" has been an unsolved mystery for thousands of years. Jiangzhou porcelain carving is a technique of carving on the surface of fired porcelain with special tools, which is compared to "embroidery on porcelain" Porcelain carving art integrates calligraphy, painting, seal cutting and other arts, and uses techniques such as chiseling, engraving, grinding, scraping and wiping to make plain pictures and glazed surfaces set each other off. In 2009, Jiangzhou carved porcelain was listed in the Protection List of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Shanxi Province.
