Text|Sincerity
It was probably the summer before last year that one day I suddenly became obsessed with gossip, so I secretly looked through my cousin’s summer vacation diary.
Originally I just wanted to watch it for fun, but the sight of it almost made me angry.
In those random diaries he made up, members of their entire family basically never lived a peaceful life.
Every day, I either get sick or get hit by a car. The worst case is that my feet sprain while walking.
Although strictly speaking, my cousin and I do not belong to the same family, but I have not escaped this disaster.
It may also be that I scared him too much when he was a child. In his "diary", I was the "villain".
It was me who pushed his second aunt down the stairs; it was me who took his dog out to bite someone; it was me who lit his green plants as firewood and caused a fire.
Feelings: Are today’s young people working so hard just to keep a diary?
From the diary material he compiled after draining his soul, I even couldn’t find a reason why I didn’t work hard for a while...
I couldn’t help but recall my school days. In this era, I suddenly felt that I understood his "difficulties" a little bit.
After all, in order to compile diaries and essays, life for me and my friends was not much better.
In order to fill up the essay grids of 400 words for elementary school, 600 words for junior high school, and 800 words for high school, who hasn’t made up those stories that “any similarities are purely fabricated”.
In terms of characterization, if you write a diary, the protagonist must be yourself. When writing a composition, the male lead will always be Xiao Ming, and the female lead will always be Xiao Hong.
As for the themes, there are only a few that come and go.
For example, "An Unforgettable Day", "My Mom", "The Person I Respect the Most", "Give Up Your Seat"...
Take "An Unforgettable Day" as an example , this day I spent a whole day either reading or cleaning at home. If you are older, it will be a "bad" subject like helping an old lady cross the road.
Helping an old lady cross the road is of course a meaningful and good thing, but based on the number of articles we wrote that year, it is estimated that there are not enough old ladies in Tianjin for us to help.
In short, whether it is giving up your seat to the grandpa or helping the grandma cross the street, after finishing the work, the red scarf on the chest will always be "more vivid".
Don’t laugh, these were the most hard-core high-scoring tools for writing essays back then.
If the old ladies you meet are all nimble and the old grandfather is always strong and strong, then it is not worthy of a touching story at all.
The similarities in themes are not the end, and the process is basically "converging".
When someone is sick, it will rain. When the weather is cold, my mother will have a fever. There will definitely be no seats on the bus. If you want to take a taxi, you will never be able to get one in this life.
And at this time, you will always have a father who "happens" to be on a business trip.
As a result, you can only carry your mother to the hospital.
But that’s not all. When you are walking on the road, a dark cloud will suddenly come and it will rain heavily, and the two of you must have only brought an umbrella.
In the process of giving up umbrellas to each other, my mother said that you are sensible, and you said that your mother has worked hard.
On the way forward, there must be someone who is going to fall down, then stand up and endure the pain and say "It doesn't matter."
"One world, one mother" is certainly true, but I think that in terms of "arranging" mothers, it is the children who are more "similar".
Of course, no matter how random you write in a diary, it is impossible for someone in your family to get sick every day.
Therefore, at this time, the imaginative primary school students shifted the focus of their "materials" to their parents' careers.
Although my parents are both civil servants, in my diary, my mother not only sold pancakes and fruits at 4:30 in the morning, but also rode three wheels in the scorching heat. My dad not only fought against cement bags, but also moved bricks.
The final result is that I must study hard and make my parents’ life easier when I grow up.
Actually, I'm pretty good at this.
In the words of some students, their parents are not even "human beings".
I forgot what grade we were in elementary school. We learned a text called "Cat" by Lao She.
I don’t know whether it was a rush or the teacher’s intention. Then we were asked to write a topic composition called "My Mother".
Then my deskmate replaced all the "cats" in "Cats" with "my mother" and all the "it"s with "she", and even licked my face after writing it. Wait for the teacher to praise him.
I know his mother, she basically looks like Li Kui with a beard. You don't need to think about it to know how much this composition will bring a deep shadow to his childhood.
In recent years, Lu Xun's famous sayings have been "abused" to a great extent, and at one time many people came out to refute the rumors.
However, this is not a recent trend.
As early as when we were writing essays, this method had already been used very well.
When we were in grade 5 or so, the teacher asked us to add some quotations from famous people in our compositions.
As a result, many people began to go to bookstores to buy collections of famous quotes. Of course, I bought it too.
But after I bought it, I realized that I couldn’t remember it at all. Therefore, "endorsing" celebrities has become our usual tactic.
In that era before the Internet, you had nowhere to look up famous quotes by famous people. So if you imitate it well, the teacher will not only not be able to tell, but will also praise you for "reading a lot".
There is actually an advanced version of this method, which should be regarded as my "unique secret".
Although I could fluently compose "famous quotes" at that time, I was always dissatisfied with the 800-word essay grid.
This question bothered me for a long time, until I learned that the author of "How Steel Was Tempered" was named Nikolai Ostrovsky.
Since then, in my compositions, quotes have always come “from” Chernyshevsky, Leo Tolstoy and Pyotr Tchaikovsky.
If you add some stories you made up, 800 words will be enough.
Think about how many birthdays I had to celebrate a year in order to scrape together those 800 words. And when I think of the old ladies I once "supported", I admire myself even more for how brave I was at that time.
Although every time I compile a new theme, I feel a sense of accomplishment. But at the same time, the Chinese teacher had already laughed like a goose in the office.
In fact, until today I have never understood why I should arrange such an intensive diary during the holidays.
Perhaps by reducing the quantity, students can improve the quality and write true feelings.
When you were writing compositions when you were a child, what other "classic" plots did you use? Welcome to share.
