In the sixteenth year of Qianlong (1751 AD), Zheng Banqiao was invited by the governor of Juzhou to visit Juzhou. When he was traveling to Xishanwang, Qi Mountain in Jubei Province, he was treated to a banquet by the local king Yuanwai. Yuanwai had heard about Banqiao's name for a long time and was eager to get his calligraphy treasure, so he entertained Banqiao with the famous local delicacy "muddleheaded dish".
After Zheng Banqiao tasted the Hutu dishes, he was full of praise and asked Wang Yuanwai the names of these dishes. Yuanwai replied: "Our local name is muddled dishes." Seeing that Banqiao was in high spirits, Yuanwai asked Banqiao to write an inscription .
