Only by letting children discover what they love can they awaken the "internal drive" of doing things.
What is the internal driving force? Ausubel, an American cognitive education psychologist, first put forward three kinds of internal driving forces: cognitive internal driving force from interest, self-improvement internal driving force from positive feedback from external environment, and subordinate internal driving force attached to conditions.
In the process of pursuing self-realization, it is difficult to distinguish the three. For example, did Liu Xiang start practicing because he liked track and field when he was a child, or did he like track and field because he ran fast, and was praised and recognized?
In the child's growth stage, the combination of three tactics and driving force can enhance the learning enthusiasm;
1. Patiently accompany children to discover and explore their interest and love in learning, stimulate "cognitive internal drive" and ignite their enthusiasm for learning!
2. Help children find their own advantages, guide children to form the internal driving force of self-improvement, and find the sense of mission in learning with the affirmation of the outside world!
3. Don't set "success goals" for children, give them a sense of autonomy and control in learning, and improve their resilience.
When a child realizes that "learning is something he loves all his life", he can learn actively and continuously!
